BUJANOVAC — An unknown assailant fired multiple shots at a police checkpoint in the ethnic Albanian village of Dobrosin near Bujanovac around 3:00 CET on Thursday.

“The attack on police, i.e. police checkpoint at 3:00 in the morning is a terrorist act,” Vranje Police Administration Spokesman Dragan Stamenković has said.

He stressed that he could not give any more information about the attack.

The village of Dobrosin is located around 16 kilometers southwest of Bujanovac.

The so-called Liberation Army of the Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa (OVPBM, UCPMB) was founded in Dobrosin in the beginning of January 2000.

More Ethnic Clashes Feared in Macedonia

Authorities are worried that Sunday’s clashes in the capital, Skopje, between ethnic Albanians and Macedonians may be repeated this weekend, as extremists on both sides use Facebook to summon supporters for a second round.

SkopjeThe violent scenes seen in the heart of Skopje have sparked a wave of hate-speech on Facebook, with ethnic Albanian and Macedonian hard-liners calling for renewed violence this Saturday.

Eight people were injured on Sunday when rival Macedonian and Albanian protesters scuffled over the controversial construction of a museum being erected on the foundations of a medieval church at the fortress in Skopje.

The fortress lies adjacent to the ethnic Albanian area of the city and many Albanians fear the new museum will be handed over to the Orthodox Church for active use.

“My Macedonian brothers, on Saturday we will have our revenge,” one Facebook group says, adding that it is time for “the final battle to eradicate the Shiptars”. “Shiptar” is a derogatory term for an Albanian.

Another Facebook profile, opened by Albanians opposed to the museum, says that “only a massacred Macedonian is a good caurin”. The word “caurin” is a derogatory for a member of the country’s Macedonian majority.

Police said they were taking action. Officers had been deployed around the site of the museum.

“We have officially informed Facebook of the existence of these profiles and groups who spread ethnic and religious intolerance and have asked for their closure,” police spokesman Ivo Kotevski told Balkan Insight.

Kotevski said that police will also pursue the owners of the IP addresses that host such insults and they have compiled lists of Facebook users who have answered calls to participate in future violent gatherings.

Roberto Belicanec, from the Skopje-based Media Development Center, an NGO, said the display of ethnic hatred on the internet was disappointing.

“While social networks are used in the Arab world to overthrow semi-dictatorships, in Macedonia they provide an outlet for hatred.” Belicanec urges the use of swift sanctions against those encouraging violence.

Macedonia suffered a short-lived armed conflict in 2001 between ethnic Albanian insurgents and the security forces. The country escaped all-out ethnic conflict after both sides signed a peace deal in Ohrid granting greater rights to Albanians, who make up about one-quarter of the population.

Die Angriffe gehen weiter. Geschäftsleute werden am hellen Tag überfallen und in Angst und Schrecken versetzt, Augenzeugen geben an, in Jahja Pasha und anderen, von Albanern bewohnten Stadteilen von Shkup Menschen mit Pistolen, Kalaschnikows, Scoprpions und anderen Arten von Schusswaffen gesehen zu haben. Im albanischen Teil von Shkup häufen sich Szenen, die man nur in Wildwestfilmen erwartet und niemand unternimmt etwas, um das zu stoppen. In der Zwischenzeit setzt sich die Angst in den Herzen der Menschen fest.

Interessanterweise werden nur Albaner angegriffen, und die Angreifer sind ausschließlich Albaner, eine für die andere Seite sehr günstige Lage, denn sie freut sich, dass ihre Vorhersagen eintreffen.

Eight Injured in Clashes over ‘Church’ Construction in Macedonia

Rival Macedonian and Albanian protesters clashed on Sunday at Skopje’s fortress over the controversial construction of a museum in the form of a church, leaving several injured.

Witnesses say that a fight broke out between ethnic Macedonians, who were supporting the building of the museum-church, and ethnic Albanians, who are opposed to the project, on Sunday afternoon.

Stones were thrown, and police said that eight people were injured in the incident, including two police officers. One person was seriously injured, and remains in hospital.

The situation in and around the Skopje fortress on Monday is calm, with a visible increase in police presence.

The plan to build a museum in the style of a medieval church at the fortress in Macedonia’s capital has ignited the country’s tense ethnic relations.

Nearly all ethnic Albanian political parties and organisations have labelled the project as a provocation from the ruling, conservative government of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. Some have called for the construction of a mosque at the same location.

Following the clashes, the opposition and ruling parties traded blame over the incident.

In a joint statement, the ruling coalition partners, the centre-right VMRO DPMNE and the junior ethnic Albanian party, the Democratic Union for Integration, DUI, condemned the incident and appealed for calm.

“These sensitive issues should be solved only with open political dialogue through institutions,” the statement reads. “We assure you that the nurturing of the cultural rights and heritage of all ethnic communities remains a priority for both parties,” it added.

Meanwhile, the opposition Social Democrats asked for the resignation of Police Minister Gordana Jankulovska and her deputy Xhevat Buci for failing to prevent the incident. The party also urged the government to sack Pasko Kuzman, the head of the agency for the protection of cultural heritage, which launched the controversial construction.

“If they fail to do this they will admit that they deliberately fuel ethnic tensions in order to divert attention from the economic drought and poverty, crime and corruption,” the Social Democrats spokesman Emilijan Stankovic told media late on Sunday.

The clashes on Sunday came after previously a group of people, led by high-ranking officials from the DUI, the biggest ethnic Albanian party in the country, forcibly entered the fortress and started demolishing the construction site late on Friday.

The action was condemned by Gruevski and his VMRO DPMNE party.

The museum was being constructed on the foundations of a recently excavated 14th-century Orthodox church in the old fortress that dominates the skyline of the capital.

The style and location of the building stirred suspicions among Albanians, who saw it as an attempt by the Christian Macedonian majority to gain a foothold in what the mainly Muslim Albanians see as their side of town.

The row over the museum recalled the heated discussions of 2009 and 2010 about whether the state should build an Orthodox church in the centre of Skopje, near the main square.

All ethnic Albanian parties and many Albanian NGOs conditioned support for the church with the parallel erection of a mosque at a nearby location.

The authorities eventually abandoned the idea to build a church but gave the site to the Orthodox Church, which has since remained silent about the possible start of construction.

Jetzt will diese Verrückte, auch noch mit ihren Geschichten, das die Bulgarien sich von den Energie Geschäften der Russen lösen und distanzieren. Hintergrund ist der entgültige Bau Beginn der South-East Pipeline in 2012. Die US Projekte, wie AMBO, sind vollkommen gescheitert, obwohl man deshalb u.a. den Kosovo Krieg führte und die Milliarden teure Bond-Steel Anlage im Kosovo gebaut hat, welche nun aufgegeben wird. Alle Pipelines, meiden die Albaner Gebiete, wo selbst die Amerikaner vor Jahren auch eine südlichere Routen Führung, ohne Kosovo und Nord Albanische Gebiete planten, wegen dem Banditen Tum dort.

Ein Amok Lauf, der Hillary Clinton, welche besser am Kochherd geblieben wäre, denn kapieren tut die gute Frau nie etwas. Nicht einmal das die komplette Terror Strategien der Amerikaner in einem Debakel des Bankrottes, Betruges und Verlust der Glaubwürdigkeit untergegangen ist. Hillary Clinton hat keinen Verstand, noch eine eigene Meinung, sondern plabbert den NeoCons nur Alles nach, welche oft nie im Ausland waren.

Robert Kagan (Vorstandsmitglied des PNAC und der FPI; seine Frau Victoria Nuland war einst bei Richard Cheney stellvertretende Beraterin für nationale Sicherheit und ist gegenwärtig Pressesprecherin von Außenministerin Hillary Rodham Clinton) Berliner Umschau Hitler und Stalin, sind gegen diese Massenmörder und Staaten Vernichter, nette Onkels.

Bulgarien hat die geringste Staats Verschuldung in Europa und verpulverte nur viele Milliarden, mit Unsinnigen Energie Strategien u.a. mit RWE und dem Belene Atom Kraftwerk. SOFIA — U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton will ask Bulgarian officials to end their country’s energy dependency on Russia, according to reports.

The media are quoting U.S. officials, who spoke ahead of Clinton’s visit to Bulgaria.

They also stated that beside requesting a diminished Bulgarian dependency on Russian natural gas and oil, Clinton would also promote “alternatives to existing oil routes, and development of new energy sources”.

The U.S. state secretary believes that Eastern Europe’s reliance on Russia in the energy sector renders it “vulnerable”, due to Moscow’s “unhealthy” political pressure.

Clinton’s trip to Bulgaria came after she took part in an international security conference held in Munich, Germany.

Senator Hillary Clinton’s worldview, as formulated above, is starkly at odds with that of America’s founders. The idea that the American nation had “goals”, just as individuals do, would have been wholly alien to them. For them the whole undertaking of government was to protect our “self–evident” rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This emphasis on the primacy of the individual is the essence of true American exceptionalism.

National goals are a euphemism for concentrated national political power. The “Old World” was full of nations with goals, almost all pernicious. The concept of national goals is not so much un–American as it is non–American. But Mrs. Clinton persists in promoting the concept, saying at a recent campaign speech in New Hampshire that rather than an “ownership society” she would “prefer a ‘we’re all in it together’ society”. She frequently invokes the notion that Americans want “to be part of something bigger than themselves”.

She has an unusual ally in this. The one other powerful political force in the US today that shares her frustration over the lack of national goals is neoconservatism. Neocons call it “national greatness”. Their theorists Bill Kristol and Robert Kagan called President George W. Bush’s willingness to “engage wherever necessary around the world” a recognition of “an essential part of national greatness”.

Perhaps its most articulate proponent, however, is David Brooks, the New York Times columnist. Mr. Brooks wrings his hands in a Weekly Standard article that “Americans have discarded their pursuit of national greatness in just about every particular”. And how would he describe that goal? “Individual ambition and willpower are channelled into the cause of national greatness. And by making the nation great, individuals are able to join their narrow concerns to a larger national project.” “Ultimately,” he continues, “American purpose can find its voice only in Washington.”

Mrs. Clinton would appear to have found a soulmate in Mr. Brooks, if not a future running mate.

Yet there is more to Mrs. Clinton’s neocon connections. Another characteristic she shares is the promiscuity with which both camps would use the federal government — as if there simply were no constitutional limits on federal power. Given the neocons’ high profile in pushing us into the Iraq war, it is often overlooked how far their domestic policies unfailingly call for vigorous federal initiatives.

The federal takeover of education, dubbed “No Child Left Behind”, is a neocon project. So, too, was the Faith–based Initiative that funded local religious organisations. Mr. Brooks recently called for presidential candidates to “create a flourishing families committee. Get economists, religious activists, and psychologists in one room to figure out how government can reduce stress on struggling families”. This would be the same government that took three days to discover that Hurricane Katrina had created a bit of a problem in New Orleans….

On June 22, during press conference at the Ritz Carlton in Jamaica with that country’s foreign minister and deputy prime minister, a reporter said Libya is looking “increasingly quagmire-like” and Obama’s actions circumvented Congress (in addition to the Constitution, although the reporter did not say that).

“What is the – your vision for the endgame, a medium-term plan for U.S. involvement in Libya?” he asked.

As I’ve written before, conservative pundits love Hillary Clinton and despise the party’s liberal base. While Karl Rove and George Bush have predicted that she will win the nomination, there’s a more basic reason why the right would be content with a President Hillary Clinton. It would not shift the political center of gravity, nor upset the current power structure where conservatives have flourished. In his October 12 column for the Washington Post, neo-conservative Charles Krauthammer lauded Hillary Clinton’s candidacy – calling her the “Great Navigator.” Never mind the rhetoric that she currently gives to win the primary, he said, for Hillary’s “liberalism is redeemed by her ambition; her ideology subordinate to her political needs.” While many liberals currently support Clinton, the right understands that – in a year where Democrats will probably win the Presidency – Hillary is the best that they can hope for.

Merkozy, Goldman Sachs und das „andere“ Europa

Das Goldman Sachs-Verschwörung

Die amerikanische Privatbank hat ihre Gewährsleute an den Kommandopositionen unserer Geldpolitik platziert: an der Spitze von Europäischer Zentralbank und vom Euro-Rettungsschirm.

Die Euro-Krise wurde von Goldman Sachs langfristig geplant. Dabei nutzte das Geldhaus die Gier der politischen Klasse Griechenlands, die – unabhängig von der jeweiligen Parteizugehörigkeit – zu den korruptesten der Welt zählt. Als im Jahr 2000/2001 der Beitritt des Landes zur Euro-Zone anstand, halfen die New Yorker Banker der Linksregierung von Konstantinos Simitis bei der erforderlichen Reduzierung des Haushaltsdefizits und organisierten nicht nur Kreditbuchungen in Höhe von 15 Milliarde Euro, sondern ertüftelten auch die Tricks, um die Schuldenaufnahme gegenüber Brüssel zu vertuschen. Die Hilfestellung hat sich angeblich ordentlich rentiert: Goldman Sachs soll eine Milliarde Euro kassiert haben, fast sieben Prozent der Darlehenssumme. Die Wallstreet-Banker verkauften die griechischen Anleihen an gutgläubige Kunden, darunter Finanzinstitute in Deutschland und Frankreich, weiter.

Bei diesem räuberischen Angriff auf das Euro-System bedient sich Goldman Sachs folgender Personen:

Mario Draghi: Der italienische Zentralbank-Chef folgte im Oktober 2011 anstelle des gemobbten Bundesbank-Chefs Axel Weber dem Franzosen Trichet nach und trat an die Spitze der EZB . Von 2002 bis 2005 war er Vize-Direktor von Goldman Sachs International – und half mutmaßlich bei der Schönung der griechischen Bilanzen.

Klaus P. Regling: Der Deutsche ist seit dessen Einrichtung zu Jahresanfang 2011 Chef des Euro-Rettungsfonds ESFS und dürfte, wenn die vorläufige Institution unter dem Kürzel ESM ab Sommer 2012 in eine dauerhafte umgewandelt wird, in dieser Position bleiben. Regling war im Jahr 2001 der Komplice von Draghi: Als Generaldirektor der Wirtschafts- und Finanzabteilung der Europäischen Kommission. In dieser Funktion hätte er die von Griechenland eingereichten und von Goldman Sachs vorher frisierten Kennziffern über die Verschuldung des Landes prüfen müssen.

Lucas Papademos: Griechischer Zentralbank-Präsident von 1994 bis 2002, kommandierte als solcher den Übergang von der Drachme zum Euro und muss in die entsprechenden Tricksereien von Goldman Sachs eingeweiht gewesen sein. Nach dem Sturz von Premier Papandreou Anfang Dezember 2011 – Sie erinnern sich: Sein Verbrechen war, dass er einen Volksentscheid zum Euro ansetzen wollte – wurde Papademos griechischer Regierungschef, ohne Wahl.

Auf dieselbe undemokratische Weise wurde Marion Monti italienischer Regierungschef. Berlusconi musste zurücktreten, als die großen Fonds Mitte November in einer koordinierten Aktion Geld aus Italien abzogen. Monti gehörte nach 1995 zur informellen Gruppe der „internationalen Ratgeber“ von Goldman Sachs.

Vor dem Hintergrund dieser Personalentscheidungen titelte Time Magazin am 11. November 2011: „Regime Change in Europa: Läuft in Italien und Griechenland ein Bankiersputsch?“ Und der Londoner Independent hatte am 18. November 2011 die Überschrift: „Ist das der Preis der neuen Demokratie? Goldman Sachs erobert Europa“.

Goldman Sachs und die angelsächsische Finanzoligarchie wollen meines Erachtens den Euro nicht zerstören, sondern als Melkmaschine benutzen, um kontinentaleuropäisches Kapital in ihre Taschen umzuverteilen. Für dieses verbrecherische Vorhaben gibt es zwei konkurrierende Modelle, das deutsche und das französische. Der Plan Merkel lautet: Zuerst sollen Griechen, Spanier, Italiener den Gürtel noch enger schnallen, erst dann bekommen sie Hilfsgelder aus dem Euro-Rettungsschirm. Der Plan Sarkozy ist umgekehrt: Zuerst sollen Stützungsgelder, möglicherweise auch über Eurobonds, fließen, erst im zweiten Schritt greift die Schuldenbremse. Beide Pläne bauen auf die Abschaffung der nationalen Souveränität zugunsten einer diktatorischen EU-Wirtschaftsregierung. Der Unterschied der beiden Modelle ist, wer am meisten bluten muss bei der Errichtung der Diktatur: Im Modell Sarkozy fließt deutsches Steuergeld zur Rettung Griechenlands, also zur Rettung der dort am stärksten engagierten französischen Banken und ihrer angelsächsischen Partner. Im Modell Merkel müssen Griechen, Spanier etc. ihre Infrastruktur verschleudern, um die genannten Banken auszuzahlen, Deutschland wird eher geschont.

Ich betone: Beide Modelle laufen auf eine Diktatur hinaus, auf eine EUdSSR. Von der historischen UdSSR unterscheidet sich die EUdSSR dadurch, dass sie nicht auf einer sozialistischen, sondern einer finanzkapitalistischen Grundlage ruht, und dass ihre Befehlszentrale nicht im Moskauer Kreml, sondern in der Wallstreet und der City of London ist.

Obwohl Merkel für eine diktatorische Tendenz steht, ist der Vergleich zwischen ihr und Hitler absurd. Hitler vertrat in all seiner Scheußlichkeit die Interessen des deutschen Kapitals. Merkel vertritt die Interessen der internatonalen Finanzoligarchie. So etwa die der Deutschen Bank, die schon längst von London aus geführt wird, und der großen deutschen Aktienunternehmen, die schon längst mehrheitlich im ausländischen Besitz sind. Das deutsche Volk und die genuin deutsche Industrie, also die großen Familienunternehmen und der Mittelstand, stehen der Euro-Politik unserer Regierung skeptisch bis ablehnend gegenüber, haben aber keine politische Vertretung in Berlin. Das Problem sind nicht die Zombies der Vergangenheit, auch nicht der deutschen. Das Problem sind die postmodernen Retortenmonster wie Merkozy, die in den Labors der Finanzfrankensteins zusammengekocht wurden.
