Der serbische Außenminister Jeremic will den Friedensprozess mit dem Kosovo nicht vorantreiben - auch wenn das die Bedingung für den ersehnten EU-Beitritt ist. The public is still shaken a week after the arrests of 17 people, including two former directors of the state mine Kolubara. Former executives Dragan Tomic and Vladan Jovicic, eight executive managers and seven owners of private firms with which Kolubara conducted business were arrested on October 4th.

Justice Minister Snezana Malovic said the prosecution would not stop at this juncture and Serbia would never again be seen as a country in which corruption is acceptible or thieves protected.

“Pre-trial proceedings were initiated because of suspicion that Kolubara’s assets were used illegally through the leasing of construction machinery from privately owned companies, and by enabling other corporations and persons material gain,” organised crime prosecutor Miljko Radisavljevic told SETimes.

The executive managers are suspected of abusing their positions to illegally appropriate up to 2.9m euros, while enabling private companies to illegally profit 9.2m euros.

According to documents, the Kolubara executives rented construction machinery from private owners without issuing public procurement tenders.

The executives increased payments by exaggerating work-hours, such as for bulldozers which operated uninterrupted for 24 hours a day. The executives also paid two or three times for machinery doing one job, falsely presenting excavators as operating 30 days in a row and workers 90 hours without a break.

“Operating costs for leasing machinery increased in 2009 up to 80% or 40m euros,” current Kolubara director Nebojsa Ceran told SETimes.

Ceran assumed the position of director after the now arrested directors left in 2009.

Most of the arrested blame Tomic, saying he made the decision to rent the machinery and enter false data to pay for jobs that were never really done.

He spent millions of state funds at Kolubara, donating to churches, sports clubs, individuals and organisations, including the nationalist organisation “Dveri srpske” (Serbian doors).

The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) of former Prime Minster Vojislav Kostunica placed Tomic at the helm of Kolubara during Kostunica’s premiership. DSS, now in the opposition, demands “to determine responsibly and impartially whether there were violations of the laws in that company, and who was responsible”.

“It is very dangerous if arrests are for a political showdown with opponents,” DSS spokesperson Petar Petkovic told SETimes.

Velimir Ilic, former infrastructure minister in the Kostunica government, explained that Kolubara’s high costs were never discussed at government meetings.

“It was a practice that lasted for years, not only during our government, but also before 2000,” Ilic told SETimes.

However, former Kolubara General Director Slobodan Djeric, who served under the late Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, was among the first to warn of theft in the company years ago.

“By some estimates, the state suffered damages in the amount of 550m euros by employing privately-owned machinery from 2004 to 2009, Djeric told SETimes.

Others implicated in the situation at Kolubara are businessmen Radoslav “Kene” Savatijevic and Vitomir Dimitrijevic.

The issue of corruption is moving to the top of the EU-related agenda. In this regard, healthcare holds a dubious distinction.

One high-level corruption case involved the H1N1 flu vaccine.

The extent of corruption in Serbia’s state healthcare system is enormous, and Brussels is pressuring the country to reduce it. Authorities are making a concerted effort to demonstrate that they intend to deal with it.

Health Minister Zoran Stankovic acknowledges “reports of corruption … are more frequent than ever before, totalling 1,500 since January alone.” A group of policemen is being assigned solely to root out corruption in healthcare.

Routinely, members of the public pay several hundred euros of “incentive money” in order to have surgery scheduled in a state hospital or to give birth with epidural anaesthesia. But the stakes can be far higher.

One high profile case allegedly involves abuse in the procurement of vaccines for the H1N1 swine flu pandemic dating back to 2009.

International hysteria was exploited in the ordering of three million vaccines in a suspicious tender procedure, involving a procurement agent. Pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline offered a direct sale to the government, but the government ignored the offer and purchased the vaccine from Novartis, paying a price 30% higher than in neighbouring Croatia.

Estimates of the amount the state budget was defrauded range between 1.25m to 10.5m euros.

Arrests include the former head of the Republic Institute for Health Insurance and the representative of the company through which the vaccines were imported, owned at the time by Serbian tycoon Milorad Miskovic. But then-Health Minister Tomica Milosavljević, who had to approve both the tender and the import of vaccines, has not been arrested.

“The fact that a high government official has been arrested, while the police merely had a friendly chat with the minister, indicates that there is no serious intention to put an end to corruption. This press conference by the current minister is merely a verbal declaration and an attempt to delude the EU,” Dr Drasko Karadjinovic, co-ordinator of the NGO Doctors Against Corruption, told SETimes.

SAS - Basra Rescue

On the 19th of September, 2005, 2 SAS soldiers were on a surveillance operation, in a unmarked car, close to Jamiyat Police station in Basra. The SAS had been tasked with investigating claims that the Iraqi Police had been torturing prisoners in the station. A particular senior Police officer was suspected and it was he who the 2-man SAS team were watching. (note: some sources indicate that the surveillance operation was actually carried out by members of the Special Reconnaissance Regiment(SRR))

Just before the team were about to end the surveillance mission, they were confronted by several plains-clothes Iraqi policemen. A gunfight ensued during which at least one Iraqi policeman was wounded.

A gunfight ensued during which at least one Iraqi policeman was wounded.The SAS men tried to reach an emergency rendezvous point (ERV) but were stopped by uniformed Police who were investigating the gunfire. The SAS chose to surrender at this point. They identified themselves as British military and they were taken into custody.

Bodies Found on a Dirt Road
I was started on this by a not-so-new video which I haven’t seen yet. Peet73 tipped me off to this amateur, sideways-filmed video of several bodies found in late August in Tripoli/al-Furjan, apparently executed and scattered along a small stretch of road. At least many of them are not bound (now), but they were clearly taken there and killed. They appear to be exclusively black men.

I’m pretty sure this is the one I downloaded, original sideways format, encoded UTC Aug 28 16:12:16. There are other versions that fix the rotation (like this). The light angle seems about right for thattime of day, so I’m considering this the time of filming. 4pm on August 28.

The Yarmouk base and its attached shed massacre was in a neighborhood called by some Khalet al-Ferjan (Furjan), among other names. It was in a farm compound just behind the Yarmouk military base, a headquarters of the 32nd battallion, Khamis Katiba (see here for precise location). As Peet73 confirms in a comment below, it’s all the same district, in which these and several others had been found not charred to the bone. Though they’ve been around for the same time, these victims don’t seem to be mentioned among the earlier reports from the base, bar one that I’ve run across, from CNN, August 29:

Rebels advancing on Tripoli discovered the bodies charred beyond recognition in a warehouse next to the military base. In addition, a resident who lives nearby told CNN that at least 22 bodies were found in a ditch near the base, but it was not clear whether those remains were connected to the killings at the warehouse.

CNN cannot independently verify the claims.

I saw twelve on first count, but now I see at least 13, probably 14, perhaps as many as 16 bodies are there, depending on what’s under certain things (a blanket, a plastic sheet, etc.). I trust the count of 22 in this “ditch” or dirt road, but the others must be off-frame somewhere,or perhaps already hauledoff for burial. I was helped by the camera pans from two different positions, which I compiled into two single panoramic images. One view is here split into two, and the other fits into one image, with an odd section - a head area - enhanced. No verdict what that shows. Another upsetting body,l eft of center, top image,seems to both naked and smaller than average, again dark skinned.

In at least a few cases, blood-soaked dirt around the heads indicate on-site execution of living captives, by gunshot. They aren’t bound, but might have been until just before killing. Only a close-up exam of their wrists could say.

BERNE — Dick Marty says that society in Kosovo cannot be democratic until competent bodies face the truth about crimes committed against non-Albanian population.

The Council of Europe (CoE) rapporteur and Swiss senator also said that iIndividuals responsible for the crimes must be prosecuted.

In late 2010, Marty submitted his report on organ trafficking in Kosovo and Albania in 1999 and 2000, accusing members of the ethnic Albanian KLA of perpetrating the atrocities, with Serbs and other non-Albanians their victims.

“There can be no justice without truth, nor can there be democracy without justice,” Marty said in an interview for Swissinfo, and added that this was a simple equation that should never be forgotten.

According to Marty, i”t is in the interest of Kosovo citizens for the truth to surface and for a transparent democratic system to be set up”.

He explained that in his report on trafficking of human organs, he simply voiced facts that were already common knowledge, although the Kosovo Albanian authorities tried to impose their version of the events.

“Kosovo wanted to impose their official truth, claiming that there are good guys and bad guys and that Western countries bombed the bad guys and supported the good ones,” Marty said and added that Slobodan Miloševi’s regime “id commit heinous crimes” but it would be”a tremendous lie if it were to be said that the other side is innocent”.

Marty noted that the police, intelligence services and international agencies filed a number of reports over the past years with regard to crimes committed on both sides and the connections between politics and organized crime in the region.

Marty said that his report recorded what was already well-known, and added that he had no personal interest in the issue, but suffered many unpleasant experiences as a consequence of his work.

“Still, the truth cannot always be pleasant,” Marty added.

Frequent strikes and disruptions next door have pressed Macedonian firms to consider alternative trade routes.

Last month’s protests by Greek customs officers halted freight traffic.

The on-and-off blockade of the Greece-Macedonia border by Greeks dissatisfied with the political-economic situation in their country is causing significant losses for Macedonian entrepreneurs.

Last month, the Greek customs officers went on strike three times, causing a complete stop of cargo traffic. Nearly 80% of the trucks lining up on both sides of the border bear Macedonian registration plates.

Macedonian transport companies estimate their losses at close to 2.5m euros in the last quarter. Virtually all companies are forced to factor in such risks and postpone orders in advance at news of border closings.

“We have been practically facing a silent strike the entire summer. The Greeks simply do not want to work and let only one line for trucks, although the number of trucks coming from Macedonia is huge,” Independent Unions and Transporters Association representative Biljana Muratovska told SETimes.

She explained that even when the Greeks are not striking, the wait time is between 12 and 14 hours, resulting in truck lines tens of kilometers long.

But it is the Macedonian industrial giants — MitalSteel, Makstil, Feni, Usje and others — that suffer the greatest losses, because their production is tied to imports of materials transported through Greece.

Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Peshevski cautioned that Macedonia will issue a protest note to Greece because of the damages inflicted on its companies.

Meanwhile, foreign affairs ministry officials say their diplomats in Greece spend considerable time and resources defending Macedonian business interests.

“As much as 90% of the Macedonian consular office’s work concerns solving problems that our businessmen face at the Greek border and on Greek territory,” ministry spokesperson Borche Stamov told SETimes.

For the first time, labour unions, employers and the Macedonian government agreed to set a minimum wage in the country. Under the deal, announced by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski on Saturday (October 1st), workers must be paid at least 130 euros monthly. The agreement will increase the incomes of about 65,000 workers whose pay is not up to this standard. The law on the minimum wage is due to enter into force in 2012.

The October 3rd murder of Pristina Education Director Remzi Salihu has raised serious questions about Kosovo’s education system and the process by which employees are promoted and hired.

Salihu was allegedly shot and killed in his office by Biology Teacher Gani Sahiti, who was a candidate for school dean at the Aferdita primary school.

He did not get the job, and on October 3rd, he went to complain to Salihu.

Lindita Kosumi, an education expert told SETimes that the ministry of education and all municipalities should advance their hiring methods.

“It is clear that corruption and nepotism play a key role in getting a job in the education sector in Pristina and all other municipalities around Kosovo, so Pristina is not the only case. The way the call is done, the criterias and the selection are suspicious,” Kosumi said.

Kosumi said that having familiar links or being member of political parties that run the cities is an important factor to get a job as teacher or school director.
“In each city, the political party which runs it employs their militants as school directors and teachers sometime unfortunately. This cause lack of professionalism and lack of quality, which has an long-term impact on having an undeveloped education sector, and children who will not get an adequate education. We are now paying the bills for that,” said Kosumi.

Kosumi said that having familiar links or being member of political parties that run the cities is an important factor to get a job as teacher or school director.

“In each city, the political party which runs it employs their militants as school directors and teachers sometime unfortunately. This cause lack of professionalism and lack of quality, which has an long-term impact on having an undeveloped education sector, and children who will not get an adequate education. We are now paying the bills for that,” said Kosumi.

Aferdita Bahtiri has two children who go in the Emin Duraku primary school in Pristina. She says that the latest incidents worry her about security in the city and the school especially.

“Imagine when one of the highest city officials is murdered in his office, what safety have our children in the schools or we all in the city,” Bahtiri told SETimes.

Council for Defending Human Rights and Freedoms Executive Director Behxhet Shala tells SETimes that this tragedy could have been prevented if a better process was implemented.

“This murder could be avoided — [it shows] to what level insecurity in Kosovo [has reached], and there are no preventive mechanisms for these crimes,” said Shala.

Schnüffeltechnik für Baden-Württemberg, die Bundesnetzagentur und das Zollkriminalamt: Der Hersteller des offenbar stümperhaft programmierten Staatstrojaners hat nach SPIEGEL-ONLINE-Informationen viele deutsche Behörden beliefert - für Millionen Euro. Der ehemalige DigiTask-Chef wurde einst wegen Beamtenbestechung verurteilt.

Ein von SPIEGEL ONLINE befragter Virensoftware-Fachmann konnte sich das Lachen ob der “Qualität” der Software kaum verbeißen.

Es handelt sich ein besonders finsteres Kapitel der Blair-Regierung: Das Menschen-gegen-gute Beziehungen-und-Rohstoffe-Tauschgeschäft mit dem libyschen Tyrannen Gaddafi.

Motto: Wir liefern Dir, Gaddafi, Oppositionelle samt Familie zum Einkerkern und Foltern, und Du lieferst uns gute Beziehungen und Rohstoffe.

Geheimdienste und Politiker
Involviert in dieses hochkriminelle Vorgehen war offensichtlich der britische Auslandsgeheimdienst Mi6, der Inlandsgeheimdienst Mi5, und der US-Geheimdienst CIA.

Allerdings hat der seinerzeitige Mi6 Chef, Sir Richard Dearlove, sofort klargemacht, dass derartige Entscheidungen nicht selbstherrlich von den Geheimdiensten getroffen, sondern auf höchster politischer Ebene abgesegnet werden müssten.

Über den Entführungsfall des jetzigen libyschen Armeeführers Abdel Hakim Belhaj hatten wir bereits berichtet.

Die britische Tageszeitung Guardian hatte im September ein ausführliches Interview mit Belhaj veröffentlicht, in welchem der seine Entführung und anschliessende Folterqualen und die Folterbefragungen durch diverse Geheimdienste, einschliesslich des Bundesnachrichtendienstes (BND), schildert. Die britische Tageszeitung Independent hatte die Entführungspraxis aufgedeckt.

Independent mit Enthüllungsstory

Aufgeflogen war der Skandal, nachdem diverse Dokumente und Faxe in dem Gebäude des ehemaligen libyschen Geheimdienstchefs Moussa Koussa in Tripolis gefunden worden waren. Die Menschenrechts-NGO Human Rights Watch war in den Besitz der Dokumente gelangt.

Der Fall Sami al-Saadi
Nun hat ein weiterer Betroffener, Sami al-Saadi, seine Anwälte in Grossbritannien beauftragt, Klage gegen die damals Verantwortlichen einzureichen. Das berichtet die britische Zeitung Guardian vorgestern. Ebenfalls die BBC in einem Interview mit al-Saadi

Entführung und Millionengeschäfte
In einem FAX des CIA an die Libyer wird grosses Interesse bekundet, an der Entführung von al-Saadi beteiligt zu werden. Al- Saadi befand sich damals in Honkong.

Zwei Tage nach dem Absetzen des Faxes reiste Tony Blair im März 2004 nach Libyen, um Gaddafi seine Aufwartung zu machen.

Die Libyer gaben während des Blair-Besuches die erfreuliche Nachricht bekannt, dass ein Explorationsdeal zur Gasausbeutung im Werte von 550 Millionen Dollar mit der britisch-holländischen Firma Shell perfekt gemacht worden sei.

Libyen: Britische Söldner wittern Geschäfte

Mehrfach haben wir über den Ex-Special Boat-Service (SBS)-Mann, Ex-Sandline-Söldnerfirma Inhaber, und Grossaktionär der britisch-kanadischen Ölfirma Heritage Oil, Tony Buckingham, berichtet.

Er war immer dort zu finden, wo es nach Öl und anderen Bodenschätzen roch, gekämpft wurde, und Schürfrechte zu ergattern waren.

Im Irak war er auf Einladung Saddam Husseins 1995 zu Öl-Fördergesprächen eingeladen. Nach dessen Vertreibung (go with the flow) im Jahre 2003 kreuzte er wieder dort auf, und bekam lukrative Verträge in Kurdistan zugeschanzt.

Spur eines Söldner-Ölbarons
Im Angolakrieg rekrutierte er seinerzeit die südafrikanische Söldnerfirma Executive Outcomes, deren Kämpfer aus Apartheid-Südafrikas Terror- Mörder- und Zerstörungseinheiten stammten, wie dem 32. Buffalo Battalion, den Reconnaissance Commandos (Recce), Koevoet, der 44 Parachute Brigade und aus der Todesschwadron Civil Cooperation Bureau. Im Gegenzug gab es Öl- und Diamanten-Förderkonzessionen.

In Sierra Leone stellte er wieder die Executive Outcomes-Söldner, bekam Bergbaukonzessionen und löste die “Arms to Africa Affair“ aus, wir berichteten ausführlich darüber..

In Uganda fand er Öl, machte Geschäfte mit einer Sicherheitsfirma Saracen, verkaufte später die Öl-Konzessionen an die irische Firma Tullow Oil, unter Hinterlassung von offenbar satten Steuerschulden in Millionenhöhe, wir berichteten auch darüber.

Neue Station: Libyen
Nun raucht der Pulverdampf im Ölförderland Libyen, und schon ist Tony Buckingham wieder über seine Firma Heritage Oil dort aufgetaucht. Zwei „Geschäftsanbahner“ sind für ihn unterwegs, seit Monaten.

Libya: Rebels execute 85 mercenaries, including 12 Serbs

Onlineredaktion – Libyan rebels who control most of the country after defeating Muammar Gaddafi’s military, have executed 85 foreign mercenaries, including 12 Serbs, in the city of Misrata alone, Serbian media reported on Tuesday.

Belgrade daily Press said the executions took place in the state insurance building in Misrata after it was taken by the forces loyal to rebels’ National Transitional Council (NTC). Among the killed mercenaries, who fought on Gaddafi’s side, were also nine Croats, 11 Ukrainians and ten Colombians, the paper said.

The report was also confirmed by Zagreb daily Vecernji list whose correspondent in Misrata, Hasan Hajdar Dijab, said many mercenaries had been killed in fighting, but those arrested were shot in the head.
It quoted a rebel commander in Misrata Abdelaziz Madini as saying “those killed weren’t soldiers but executioners who came here to kill for money”. He said other mercenaries who surrender would have a fair trial.

Balkans military analysts said they were not surprised by the report, because hundreds of veterans of 1990s Balkans war have sought engagement abroad after the end of the Balkan wars in 1995 and fought for money in various African and Asian countries.

In a related development, the human rights organization Amnesty International (AI) said in its latest report that both sides in the Libyan conflict committed crimes, especially Gaddafi’s forces, but “crimes committed by rebels weren’t negligible either”, it added.

Amnesty International has called on Libya’s National Transitional Council to take steps to prevent human rights abuses by anti-Gaddafi forces

(3) And (whether or not Basaev was at the Beaulieu meeting) it is certain that Basaev and Surikov were both leaders in the Russian-backed Abkhazian revolt from Georgia in 1991.

Ekip gazetarësh europianë, guidë për “turizmin kriminal” të Sali Berishës

Prej mëse 20 ditësh, një grup prej 16 gazetarësh nga 6 vende të Europës, kanë ardhur në Shqipëri dhe për 3 muaj radhazi, ata do të realizojnë aktivitet turistik në disa zona të vendit.

Drejtuesi i grupit turistik, një miku dhe kolegu im gazetar gjerman, më konfirmoi, se i veçantë është fakti, që ky grup turistik nuk ka lidhje me pushimet në det, në mal, në kanione, as me fotografim natyre e relaksime në kampingje dhe fshatra turistikë. Gjithçka ka lidhje me një lloj tjetër turizmi të ri, të panjohur e të aplikuar më parë në Shqipëri dhe që ata e quajnë “Turizmi kriminal qeveritar”. Objekt i këtij lloj turizmi është evidentimi i ngjarjeve që kanë tronditur shoqërinë shqiptare, fotografimi i vendeve ku kanë ndodhur këto ngjarje dhe pasojat, pa lënë jashtë “guidës” personazhet që i kanë shkaktuar dhe ata që kanë pësuar dramat njerëzore, apo ekonomike. Këtë gjë, grupi “turistik” gjerman e ka bërë në 34 vende të botës, ndërkohë që 20 vitet e fundit e ka realizuar në pothuajse të gjithë vendet e ish-Lindjes Komuniste dhe në vendet e ish-Federatës Jugosllave. Sipas bisedës me mikun dhe kolegun tim gjerman, në vitet 1992-1997 dhe në 6 vitet 2005-2011 pushtet të drejtuar prej Sali Berishës, ata kanë dëgjuar episode tronditëse që kanë lidhje me botën e krimit ekonomik e njerëzor dhe që kanë për autorë, realizues, mbështetës, mbrojtës e përfitues kupolën e pushtetit, segmentet e drejtësisë, kryeministrin, ministrat dhe familjarët e tij. Grupi është ndarë në katër grupe “turistike”, me veprim në katër zona gjeografike të Shqipërisë. Sipas programit “turistik”, për të realizuar guidën e “turizmit kriminal” të pushtetit të Sali Berishës, ata po i referohen informacioneve publike të nxjerra nga mediat vendase e ndërkombëtare, por dhe “udhë-rrëfyesve” e “ciceronëve” të komunitetit, për të evidentuar ngjarjet, për të fotografuar vendet ku kanë ndodhur, për të intervistuar personazhet viktima të mbetura gjallë, ose familjarë të tyre.

Dje, krejt në konfidencialitet, jam njohur me veprimtarinë e deritanishme të eksplorimit të tyre “turistik”. Ata kishin fotografuar vendin ku ishte rrëmbyer dhe zhdukur biznesmeni Koço Dado. Kishin filmuar ish-qendrën e biznesit ku ishte rrëmbyer biznesmeni shqiptaro-maqedonas Remzi Hoxha. Kishin fotografuar qelinë e burgut 313 ku Remzi Hoxha i ishte mbajtur peng për 12 orë. Kishin fotografuar zyrat e torturave të ish-kreut të SHIK Bashkim Gazidede, të Arben Sefgjinit dhe Ilir Kumbaros, personave që kanë organizuar rrëmbimin dhe zhdukjen e tij. Kishin fotografuar vilë-qendrën e torturave të SHIK në Vajin të Lezhës, ku biznesmeni Remzi Hoxha u masakrua dhe u zhduk pa asnjë gjurmë. Kishin fotografuar ish-ndërtesën e djegur të redaksisë së gazetës ish-opozitare “Koha Jonë”. Kishin fotografuar shtëpinë e Nikoll Lesit tek shkolla “Petro Nini Luarasi”, ku SHIK dhe policia sekrete e pushtetit të Sali Berishës qëndron “non stop” për të arrestuar ish-botuesin Nikoll Lesit. Kishin fotografuar gropën tek Liqeni Artificial i Tiranës, ku agjentët e SHIK të Sali Berishës kishin rrëmbyer, torturuar, sakatuar dhe hedhur në gjendje gjysëm të vdekur, dy gazetarët opozitarë të kohës Bardhok Lala dhe Zamir Dule. Kishin fotografuar hyrjen e pallatit ku kamikazë të pushtetit të Sali Berishës, kishin masakruar fizikisht Edi Ramën, sot kreu i PS. Kishin fotografuar vendet ku policia dhe SHIK i Sali Berishës, kishin masakruar drejtuesit e opozitës socialiste në zgjedhjet e vitit 1996. Kishin fotografuar burgun e Bençës, ku mbahej i burgosur ish-kreu i opozitës. Kishin fotografuar zyrën në selinë qendrore të PDSH, ku ishte ngritur dhe funksiononte shoqëria tregtare e trafikut të armëve e karburanteve, më të cilat pushteti i Sali Berishës furnizonte pushtetin kriminal të Sllobodan Milosheviçit, kur ndaj tij ishte vendosur embargo ndërkombëtare. Kishin fotografuar zyrat e firmave piramidale “SUDJA”, “VEFA”, “XHAFERRI”, “GJALLICA”, “POPULLI” etj, të cilat financuan pushtetin e Sali Berishës në vitet 1992-1997 dhe prej të cilave ishin zhvatur miliona dollarë e lekë prej kupolës së pushtetit të PD. Kishin fotografuar vendet, ku ishin bërë vrasje masive në periudhën janar-qershor 1997, kur ushtria e pushtetit të Sali Berishës u vërsul mbi popullatën që kërkonte lekët e vjedhura. Kishin fotografuar anijen me të cilën, në 28 mars 1997 u mbytën 118 shqiptarë në Otranto, në përpjekje për të ikur nga Shqipëria e futur në zjarr dhe luftë civile prej pushtetit të Sali Berishës. Kishin fotografuar vendet ku ishin bërë masakra në Tepelenë, Fier, Berat, Vlorë e Gjirokastër gjatë revoltës së vitit 1997. Kishin fotografuar stadiumin ku më mars 1997 ishte mbajtur peng dhe ishte “rrahur me presh” nga populli i Lushnjës, ish-kreu i PDSH Tritan Shehu. Kishin fotografuar fushën e djegur të Gërdecit ku ishte ngritur fabrika qeveritare e vdekjes dhe ku u vranë 26 persona në demontimin dhe trafikun qeveritar të municioneve. Kishin fotografuar fshatin Gërdec të shkrumbuar e të bombarduar nga shpërthimi i municioneve. Kishin fotografuar fëmijë e të rritur në Gërdec, të cilin ishin të gjymtuar fizikisht nga ky biznes-masakër qeveritare. Kishin fotografuar vendin ku u vra “aksidentalisht” Kosta Trebicka. Kishin fotografuar vendin ku në një mesnatë, ishin takuar Kosta Trebicka dhe djali i kryeministrit Sali Berisha, në kohën kur bëhej trafiku i municioneve. Kishin filmuar vendin ku u dogj makina e botuesit të gazetës “TEMA”. Kishin fotografuar vendin ku gjendej e rrethuar dhe e bllokuar me policë shtypshkronja e gazetës “TEMA”. Kishin fotografuar vendin ku vra në prit deputeti i PS Fatmir Xhindi dhe kryekomunari nga Kukësi Remzi Veseli. Kishin fotografuar vendet ku ishin vrarë 4 demonstruesit e 21 janarit 2011. Kishin fotografuar vendet se ku qëndronin gardistët vrasës. Kishin fotografuar zyrën e kreut të KQZ Arben Ristani ku ishte bërë krimi i veshjes së votës.

Të katër grupet e gazetarëve europianë po vazhdojnë të mbushin me fakte dhe episode guidën e “turizimit kriminal” të pushteteve të Sali Berishës. Ata do të fotografojnë edhe vende ku janë vetvarur e janë vet-vrarë njerëz nga varfëria, ku zhvillohet krim ekonomik me autorë eksponentë të lartë shtetërorë e qeveritarë, si në Bulqizë, Pukë, Kukës, Pogradec, në guroret që po rrafshojnë malet e Tiranës, Skraparit, Krujës, Lezhës, Elbasanit, Korçës, Pogradecit e deri tek ish-ndërmarrjet ekonomike gjigande, të kthyera në gërmadhë e të plaçkitura prej njerëzve të pushtetit si dhe përmbytja e Shkodrës. Kjo “guidë turistike” e veçantë është e para “vepër” e  këtij lloji, që do të prezantojë në botë, “turizmin kriminal” të bërë prej kupolës së pushtetit në Shqipëri.

International terrorism thriller in Thessaloniki

A thriller with potential political implications has taken place in Thessaloniki, after an explosion in a basement apartment in Triandria.

Information speaks of potential Kurdish residents planning an attack on Greek soil. As such, a meeting between the Secretary of Citizen Protection, the Head of National Intelligence and the Director of the Counter-Terrorism Unit is taking place since this afternoon.

Investigations have been undertaken by the CTU, in an effort to determine who and why was hiding their arsenal in a specially hidden cache. The first evidence points to Kurdish armed groups. This case is complicated further by the element of a fatally injured man, who has been identified as a 32 year-old Kurd, of Turkish nationality, suspected of belonging to the organization DHKP-C.

The apartment was rented by two other Kurds who had been implicated with a Turkish couple with a terrorist agenda, while the woman had a pending German arrest warrant.

During the investigation, a hidden cache within the apartment’s kitchen revealed:

-An anti-tank weapon, armed with a projectile (M80 64mm)
-An AK74 Sub-machine gun
-An AK assault rifle
-Two anti-personnel mines
-One Scorpion SMG
-One automatic rifle
-Two cases of 600 rounds of various calibers
-14 grenade detonators
-Five kilos of unknown substance
-Four assault and nine defensive grenades, without detonators
-Also found in the apartment were pieces of an exploded grenade, a grenade without a detonator and other items.

The case is classified as top national priority by Police officials since it concerns the actions of a foreign organization on Greek soil, and as such Secretary of Citizen Protection Christos Papoutsis has been meeting with the heads of the National Intelligence Agency and the Counter-Terrorism Unit since this afternoon.

The possibility that Turkey might requests explanations makes the Greek side cautious and careful in handling the affair so that there is no further backlash between the two countries’ relations at this time.
