Iu deshën vetëm 90 minuta për të vrarë mbi 90 persona. Ndërkohë që policia vazhdon kërkimet për trupa të tjerë në ujë dhe pyllin e ishullit të Utoya-s, fakte të reja po dalin. Gazeta norvegjeze Aftenposten ka bërë publike mbrëmjen e djeshme disa foto të vrasësit Anders Behring Breiviks. Fotot në fjalë tregojnë shumë për profilin e tij dhe gjendjen psikologjike që e karakterizon. Herë i veshur si robot me armë të vërteta moderne dhe herë si kimist duke bërë eksperimente, Breiviks duket se ka shumë për të treguar. Ndër fotot që kanë ngjallur debat janë ato ku Breiviks shfaqet si gjeneral nazist dhe si anëtar i një sekti mason. Norvegjezët hedhin dyshime se identiteti i tij është i rremë. Sipas lexuesve të norvegjezes Aftenposten, Anders Breiviks ka krijuar një llogari në Facebook dhe Twitter vetëm më datë 17 korrik. Ata dyshojnë se pse pikërisht pak ditë para sulmit, vrasësi vendos të hapë një llogari në rrjetet sociale dhe pse ai ka shkruar në anglisht gjatë gjithë kohës ndërkohë që ai është norvegjez?!

Ajo është, si të thuash, një program dhe statut se ç’kishte ndërmend të bëntë monstra norvegjeze dhe një udhërrëfyes për të gjithë ata që duan ta ndjekin. Në videon që “Shekulli” arriti ta sigurojë, Breiviks kundërshton me forcë jo vetëm muslimanët dhe fenë Islame por çdo emigrant në Evropë. Një pjesë e veçante i kushtohet shqiptarëve.

Breiviks e konsideron Kosovën si një vend të pushtuar nga xhihadistët. Sipas tij, Kosova është pjesë e hartës demografike të islamizmit, e renditur në krah të Marsejës, Libanit dhe Anatolisë (Turqi). Poshtë emrit të Kosovës nuk dallohet nëse shkruhet diçka e kuptueshme por dyshohet se janë datat e betejave mes shqiptarëve dhe serbëve ndër vite. Ndërkohë, Shqipëria bën pjesë gjithashtu në Xhihadin Global, siç e quan Breiviks. Si pjesë e Evropës, Shqipëria sipas tij është një vend i pushtuar nga muslimanët pas shumë konfliktesh.

Breivik dhe historia e Shqipërisë

Në manifestin e tij: “2083, Deklarata Europiane e Pavarësisë”, Anders Behring Breivik përmend luftën kundër myslimanizmit, një kauzë sipas tij e drejtë.

Pikërisht për këtë, ai i referohet Serbisë, duke i cilësuar të papranueshme bombardimet e Shteteve të Bashkuara dhe regjimeve perëndimore kundër “vëllezërve serbë”, që sipas tij nuk kishin asnjë qëllim tjetër vetëm atë të dëbimit të myslimanëve shqiptarë në Shqipëri.

Ai kishte krijuar lidhje përmes internetit me eksponentë nacionalistë serbë dhe të tjerë individë në Europë, duke përgatitur terrenin për krijimin e një grupi që do të kishte realizuar “Urdhërin Ushtarak dhe Gjyqësor, Kalorësit Templarë”.

Në dokumentin e tij ai e përmend Shqipërinë prej faqes 91 deri në 1411, duke përmendur historinë prej periudhës otomane, me Skëndërbeun, që e quan një kryqëzor, një hero për shqiptarët, si dhe duke iu referuar marrëdhënieve mes myslimaneve dhe të krishterëve në Ballkan dhe statistikave për popullsitë me shumicë myslimane në këtë rajon.

Ai flet për disa xhihade në botë, duke përmendur atë kundër sovjetikëve në Afganistan, të boshnjakëve kundër serbëve në ish-Jugosllavi, myslimanëve shqiptarë kundër serbëve në Kosovë dhe Cecenët kundër rusëve në Kaukaz.

Në një pjesë të “Deklaratës Europiane të Pavarësisë”, ai shkruan: “Në Europë kemi konfliktin në ish-Jugosllavi mes myslimanëve të Bosnjes, serbëve dhe kroatëve dhe konfliktin mes shqiptarëve, serbëve dhe maqedonasve dhe ndoshta me shumë gjasë, jo shumë larg, konfliktin mes shqiptarëve dhe grekëve. Nëse ne i eleminojmë këto konflikte, Ceceninë, Ballkanin, Sudanin, bota do të jetë një vend i paqmë. Nëse heqim nga ekuacioni terrorist, aktet terroriste të kryera nga myslimanët në këto pesë vitet e fundit, mund të kuptojmë se lufta kundër terrorit është e panevojshme sepse terrori nuk është ndonjë problem kaq i madh”.

Për Breivik, Kosova nuk është gjë tjetër vecse një hap tjetër në islamizimin e Europës. Ndërsa si tradhëtitë më të mëdha të kohëve të fundit të regjimeve perëndimore është anëtarësimi i Shqipërisë në NATO në vitin 2009.

Sofia’s first shopping mall facing bankruptcy – report

City Center Sofia, the first shopping mall to open in the Bulgarian capital in 2006, faced bankruptcy after its owner had difficulties servicing its loans, Bulgarian mass-circulation daily Trud reported.

US real estate investment management firm Heitman, which bought the mall in 2008 for a reported figure of 101.5 million euro, was in breach of loan covenants as of December 2010, the newspaper said, quoting an Ernst&Young auditing report.

UniCredit Bank Austria could call the 118.6 million leva loans at any time, repossessing the mall if Heitman failed to pay. Despite its prime location on the corner of Arsenalski and Cherni Vruh boulevards in Sofia, next to the Hilton, last year the revenue from rent was down by 12.5 per cent and the shopping mall ended the year with a loss of 729 000 leva, compared to a profit of 1.28 million leva a year earlier, Trud said.

City Center Sofia was the first shopping mall to feel the brunt of recession and the drop in household consumption, courting controversy in 2009 when tenants complained that the mall’s management increased rents. A second row followed in 2010, when more tenants left the premises, the newspaper said.

Reportedly, Heitman was in negotiations with the bank to rectify the breach of covenant, but the talks were yet to yield a result at the time the auditing report was concluded on May 25. Contacted by the newspaper, Heitman was unavailable for comment before Trud went to print.

Specifically, the loan conditions stipulate that the mall’s owners have to maintain a rent revenue of at least 15 per cent higher than the loan repayment amounts. Furthermore, the loan’s principal should not be higher than 75 per cent of the mall’s valuation – with the continued slide in property valuations in Bulgaria, Heitman is now in breach, the daily said, quoting the Ernst&Young report.

The loans had been taken out by the mall’s previous owner, private equity investment firm Equest, which had acquired City Center Sofia in 2006 for 94 million euro.

RUMEN GOTZOV NIKOLOV – THE PASHA disappeared from public life. There is proof about his business ties in the 90-ies with current Prime Minister BOYKO BORISSOV (the TEO INTERNATIONAL Company). They owned together a factory for the illegal production of cigarettes in Kraymorie, near Bourgas. The illegal manufacturing was discovered during an anti-mafia unit operation in 1996. Borissov then sold his shares in TEO INTERNATIONAL to Ivo Kamenov Georgiev from TIM.

MLADEN MIHALEV - “MADJO” is living in Switzerland. In 2007, he appeared during The Marguins trial as a protected witness and then Minister of the Interior, Rumen Petkov, ordered exclusive security measures for him, surpassing those used to protect the President. In 2010, Madjo testified again during the Marguins trial. According to a publication of journalist, Ivo Indzhev, in 2003, President, Georgi Parvanov and Madjo were both at the birthday party of the Secretary of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, BSP, Evgeniy Uzunov.

EC Report Prompts Bulgarian Reforms

Private and business donations to the Bulgarian Interior Ministry will be banned from now on, and the institution will receive support only from the state.

The new policy was announced by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on Thursday in reaction to a report critical of Bulgaria released earlier in the week by the European Commission under the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism, CVM.

In the report, private donations to the police were cited as one of many shortcomings in Bulgariaʼs judicial system and home affairs.

Media reports earlier this year indicated that the Interior Ministry had collected over BGN 6.5 M in just three months, with some donors being people under investigation.

Borisov explained that the practice has been common for more than 22 years. But since Brussels is against it, it must be eliminated, he said, adding that he has asked Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov to write a report to the EU detailing the exact amount of donations that must be replaced by state funding.

Borisov reiterated his stance that the EC report is objective, well-meaning and helpful, since it includes concrete recommendations that can be used as an action plan.

“Bulgaria is assessed by the EC as ʻa hardworking student who has the will and the desire, but not yet enough knowledge and skills,ʼ” the prime minister said on Wednesday.

Borisov also noted that parliament needs to pass a recently rejected bill regarding the forfeiture of assets acquired through illegal activities, since the EC insists on it.

The bill failed to pass in plenary hall because 40 MPs from Borisovʼs ruling Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria party, GERB, were not in attendance.

“I told them yesterday: If we want to get rid of CVM, we must fulfill our commitments,” Borisov said. “I am still worried that this forfeiture can be used as a tool for political retribution, so I told the justice minister to iron out all the details.”

American media considers Bosnian Muslims “heroes” and the American President Clinton bombed Serbs so Bosnian Muslims like Basic can drain Serbian blood and make other Serbs that America bombed drink it.

Of course, the accusations against her are just the tip of the iceberg of Bosnian Muslim atrocities but the description of this Muslim terrorizer goes just like any other description of a Muslim that goes around killing infidels:

“She’s a pretty nice person. If I was standing here right now and … she drove by, she would throw her hand up and if the window was down, she would speak and say ‘hi’ by my name.”

“She’s a lovely person, very diligent in her work,” another said.

Azra Basic was born Azra Alesevic on June 22, 1959 in Rijeka, Croatia, so that is why this Bosnian Muslim is called a “Croatian”.

She married another Muslim, Nedzad Basic in 1994 in Bosnia. She holds Croatian and US citizenship.

She lived in Rochester, NY but moved in 2006 elsewhere.

US accuses Serbs of “genociding” Bosnian Muslims like Basic and are persecuting the Serbian General Ratko Mladic for Srebrenica although many of the Bosnian Muslims that are listed as massacred in Srebrenica are living in the US.

Investigators have found that numerous Bosnian Muslim names that are listed at the Srebrenica memorial as allegedly murdered by Mladic’s forces are actually living in the US, especially in Minnesota.

Accused Croatian war criminal dies

OSIJEK, Croatia, July 13 (UPI) — Djuro Brodarac, a Croatian police general charged with torturing and killing Serbian civilians in the early 1990s, died Wednesday, court officials said.

The municipal court in Osijek said Brodarac, 67, who was in custody in the city, was transferred to the hospital Tuesday and was in the intensive care unit, B92 reported.

The court said an autopsy is to be performed and Brodarac’s medical records examined, Index.hr said.

Brodarac’s lawyer, Peter Sale, accused the authorities of causing his client’s death. Sale said he had requested house arrest because of Brodarac’s heart problems, but instead he was held in a hot crowded cell.

Brodarac was arrested several weeks ago. He was police commander in Sisak-Moslavina County in central Croatia during the Balkan War in the 1990s. At the time, the city of Sisak was under threat from Serbian-held areas nearby.

Fule: Elections in Tirana were not good
After a consultative meeting between Albania and the European Union, the Commissioner Stefan Fule expressed in a press conference his reserves about the elections in Tirana.

In this joint press release, the EU Commissioner declared that all OSCE-ODIHR recommendations must be implemented and both parties must return to dialogue and find a solution. As for the boycott, Fule declared that this is not the way how the European Union does things, and the Albanian opposition must return to the Parliament, because the electoral period is over.

The European Commission will publish the report on Albania this October, and until then, EU asked Albania to focus on the 12 priorities. Fule reminded that the European Union will help Albania, but the rest is up to the Albanian state and the political parties.

“I believe that the ruling government and opposition will do everything possible to find a solution to the political stalemate. I am talking about the EU aspiration and the legal structures. They must work hard for the democratic institutions. The opposition must participate in the Parliament and its plenary sessions. There are many laws that demand the qualified majority. This is the best for Albania and the Albanian citizens”.

The representative of the Polish Presidency was also present in this meeting, declaring that the country needs political unity in order to seriously think about the European perspective.

“It is vital that the Albanian opposition and the government will make good use of the best opportunity that they have during these weeks, before the new opinion for Albania. Everyone must take the opinions of the European Commission very seriously. As for the Polish presidency, we are very committed on this issue. But everything is up to you. Rumänien: Gestohlene “Sprengköpfe” entpuppen sich als Zünder für Mehrfachraketenwerfer

Die “Raketensprengköpfe”, die am Samstag aus einem rumänischen Munitionszug auf dem Weg nach Bulgarien gestohlen worden sind, haben sich als Zünder für den Mehrfachraketenwerfer “Grad” entpuppt. Dies berichtete das Nachrichtenportal Dnevnik unter Berufung auf das bulgarische Wirtschaftsministerium.Am Sonntag hatten internationale Medien berichtet, dass aus einem Munitionszug in Rumänien 64 Raketensprengköpfe gestohlen worden seien. Der Zug war nach Bulgarien unterwegs, als Bahnangestellte bei einem Zwischenstopp in Giurgiu das aufgebrochene Siegel an einem Waggon bemerkten. Bei der Überprüfung wurde festgestellt, dass vier Kisten mit jeweils 16 Sprengköpfen verschwunden waren.

Die mit der Überwachung des Waffentransports beauftragten Gendarmen beteuerten, dass die gestohlene Munition keine Explosivstoffe beinhalte und deshalb ungefährlich sei. Nach Angaben des bulgarischen Wirtschaftsministeriums handelte es sich um alte Zünder für 122-mm-Raketen des Typs “Grad”, die im Munitionswerk im bulgarischen Sopot modernisiert werden sollten.

Das Mehrfachraketenwerfersystem “Grad” war bereits in den 1950er Jahren in der Sowjetunion entwickelt worden. Seine Modifikationen stehen bis heute bei den Armeen verschiedener Staaten im Dienst. Bei einer Reichweite von 20 km kann das System bis zu 40 Raketen mit dem Kaliber 122 mm in einer einzigen Salve abfeuern.

White House Obama bin Laden Kill Show Gaps

These photos from a featured White House Flickr series show the timeline of Obama preparing and delivering a public announcement on May 1, 2011 of the Osama bin Laden raid and kill. Washington DC time period: 2:24PM to 11:45PM.

White House photographer Pete Souza’s numbering sequence of the photos indicates several hundred photos were taken that day, ranging from numbers 0106 to 0927. Souza Photoshopped the photos in the early hours of May 2, 2011, as shown in their EXIF data. The photos were uploaded to Flickr soon thereafter with exceptional speed.

There are several hours-long gaps in the photo sequence. Seeing the full day’s collection, rather than only the nine selections,  would be in the public interest to understand how the highly celebrated affair was prepared for delivery, who was involved and what has not yet been disclosed to the public.

Was there payment of the long-standing $25M reward for reporting bin Laden’s whereabouts?

Beyond this modest photograhic series there has been no documentary or photographic substantiation of the bin Laden raid, sea burial and after-action evaluation. Instead there has been elaborate and sustained publicity based on little more than the Obama announcement, his follow-up interviews and comments, the CIA-NGA maps and diagrams, highlighted Obama thanks to participants in, and planners of, the raid, and cursory assurances by national security officials that the claims are authentic — and heroic. A campaign of carefully crafted disclosures to the media appears underway, again without documentary substantiation to fill in the extensive gaps in the triumphant story of the decade.

Triumphant to erase the decade of documented failure in the bin Laden and Al Qaeda pursuit initiatives, such as the bumbling Alec Station, aka, the Bin Laden Units in the CIA-FBI-DoD, Special Forces and Predators, and Task Forces in Justice, Treasury, State, Customs, Immigration, Energy, Commerce, indeed all agencies in multiple countries, Pakistan and Afghanistan in particular, as documented in the Senate-House Joint Inquiry on 9/11, the DoJ-FBI investigation on 9/11, the CIA OIG investigation on 9/11, the 9/11 Commission inquiry and many more pointers toward gaps beyond NARA 9/11 FOIA documentary redactions and withholdings. The bin Laden kill is the least documented success and most vaunted of all counterterrorism actions and begs for more diligent investigation and public disclosure.

A Gapped Timeline

The bin Laden raid is reported to have occurred overnight April 30-May 1, 2011, with the killing early on May 1 (for this timeline the kill-time is assumed to be 2AM Abbottabad and 11AM Washington, DC) . Presumbably the White House was informed by DoD and the CIA soon after the raid. CIA Director Panetta was reported to have been at CIA headquarters during the raid observing it in real time.

Based on the time of these photos taken from their EXIF data, the White House was discussing the raid by 2:24PM May 1, (kill + 3:24 hours) viewed a recording of the raid at 4:05PM (kill +5:05 hours)  and had follow-up discussions four hours later at 8:03PM and 8:44PM (kill + 9:03-9:44 hours).

Then Obama, bathed and dressed, made alert calls at 10:11PM (kill + 11:11 hours)  and worked on his announcement at 10:43PM (kill + 11:43 hours).

The national security team, apparently not bathed and still wearing the day’s dress, awaited the announcement at 11:41PM (kill + 12:41 hours).

Obama made his accouncement at 11:42PM (kill +12:42 hours) and was congratulated by his team at 11:45PM (kill + 12:45 hours).

It glosses the previous AP report by slathering on more motherhood-and-apple-pie “risk to undercover officer,” and suggests that ranks of reputable publishers will obediently play the access hand they are given or be banned for revealing the officer’s identity. Even threatened with prosecution in the jounralism-hiding-behind-Wikileaks gambit.

Nothing about the female star which may mean that will be a separate series of disclosures as the re-election campaign unfolds.

A call to the CIA press office might get you a quotable sip from the spigot, and get you placed on a watch list for possible enlistment as a favored outlet.

10 July 2011. In response to an inquiry:

Cryptome prepared the CIA-John file about 4:00PM on July 5, 2011, uploaded it and the first download took place at 4:11PM. Our copy of the AP story states it was updated at 1:45AM, July 5, 2011. We don’t recall exactly when we saw the AP story, but it would have been after 7AM on the 5th when we started reading online news about bin Laden (a topic we are following to track the PR spin). Then it took a couple of hours to look for photos of the days cited in the AP story and package a file (note we package, do not write).

We first thought it was some other person with Panetta at the Senate hearing, an older gent just behind Panetta. Unsure about the identification we went back to the photos to look for the older gent. Then we spotted the tie and noticed the unusual height of the person wearing it. Then again went back to the photos and saw John the Tall wearing the tie in one of them as well as lurking behind in the Senate photo. (There are two versions of the latter photo, almost identical.)

Artful cropping by the White House to include John’s arm and tie — and height — provided perfect clues for dummies to go with the AP dummy-baiting.

Fortunately, White House Flickr photos are high-resolution or it would have been difficult to see the tie clearly, and more importantly, to see John in the background in the low-resolution photos customarily appearing in the media.

The public may not know that AP and others distribute high-resolution photos to paying customers, and the low-res versions are reduced to hold down costs of publishing. AP offers the Senate photos of Panetta and John at high-resolution at a cost of $200 for a single day’s internet use. We did not buy one. Others are free from the White House. Nada from the CIA black hole except to very high-paying customers and syncophants.

We assume that by now John and the bin Laden hunt team have been awarded medals. That is likely to have taken place when Obama went to CIA on May 20, 2011, to thank the covert operators in private and the CIA employees in public, the last heavily documented by the press.

The next CIA person to be outed on the OBL-hunt team is the woman who worked with John, who made the actual call of a targeted lead to OBL, and, best, AP slyly reports, a journalism graduate! What better story could there be for a spying industry as badly in need of favorable PR for valiant and dogged investigators as official spies.

We bet there are a slew of journalists working that clue, and being fed more tidbits and perhaps exclusive briefings by the woman under guidance of CIA PR wizards. If she looks like Valerie Plame we will have most winning couple.

Cryptome: There is little risk to CIA John in suggesting his identity. Spies do not appear in photos unless intentionally, albeit in usually discreet form (every spy spinner rises from the shadows deliberately, maintaining the allure of darkness). The White House photo where CIA John is in the background appears staged to locate him directly behind Panetta and showing the back of Obama’s head. The White House photographer seldom shows Obama in this manner, camera held above Obama (Pete Souza is several inches shorter) to aim at Panetta and his prime briefer of the day. Most likely is that Obama, or his media advisors and the CIA, directed the photo shoot and its publication on Flickr as part of a campaign to vaunt the CIA operation and prepare its media-perfect, tall, handsome, athletic, stolid, dogged, quiet-man dragon-slayer for coming out of the cold for a future public role.

Moreover, Obama has emphasized publicity for the CIA and DoD for the OBL assassination, with heavily-media covered visits to the CIA where dozens of CIA employees were photographed and videotaped. The White House offers a video of a visit on May 20, 2011 to thank CIA employees for the OBL operation. Cryptome offers photographs of that visit and another on April 20, 2009.

The two AP reporters who wrote the article about CIA John work the CIA beat, and will no doubt continue their OBL series in cooperation with the CIA — the agency carefully cultivates such beat reporters with significant disclosures once it is shown the reports will be favorable. It is no secret that there are a bevy of such reporters, writers, media producers, lecturers, consultants and spy-industry friends who capitalize on their privileged access (most pretending to be distant from their bedfellows).

6 July 2011. Cryptome responds to Shepherd Johnson’s pointing to the CIA’s Alec Station operation to find Bin Laden (housed in the Gloucester building, Tysons Corner):

CIA John was at Alec Station for many years, maybe for all its existence. Then after Alec Station was allegedly dissolved in 2006, he probably moved to the CTC and on to the NCTC, chasing OBL with a bevy of cohorts. There may still be a hidden remnant of Alex Station at Gloucester (or the nearby Stafford building) — the CIA never fully joins with the other natsec players, just pretends to do so, keeping its hardcore CTC going in contempt of PR-driven NCTC. John is going to get a career boost, maybe come out of undercover. That seems to be what Panetta was doing by promoting him to Obama and then the showboating at Congress knowing the photos would be taken and eventually leaked — as with the AP story filled with easy to follow clues (AP was told or knew what was in the photos of John in the background).

A series of privileged media disclosures is how OBL’s killing is going to be promoted by the CIA for many years, with John and Alec Station cohorts moving up the chain of perks and eventually hitting the lecture and literature circuit, first for CIA’s never-ending PR and budgetary outreach, then after retirement for hard cash and pension supplements like the crowd of CT natsec gangsters at the Aspen Security Forum.

Anyone who’s ever logged in to a social network while in a jubilant, possibly intoxicated, frame of mind knows the dangers. Sometimes you share something you should maybe keep to yourself, or you forget to check your privacy settings, or you show off a little too much skin.

That’s more or less what the U.S. government appears to have done in the heady moments after dumping whatever was left of Osama bin Laden into the churning waters of the North Arabian Sea.

Getting him had taken 10 years, billions of dollars and the dogged work of an unnamed senior intelligence analyst in the C.I.A.’s Counterterrorism Center.

The Associated Press brought the mysterious analyst’s role to light on July 5, after which a mere two days elapsed before The Observer managed to learn the identity of this super spy, type it into Google and track the poor guy to a quiet subdivision in Northern Virginia.

Vom 11. bis zum 13. Juni fand an der School of Slavonic and East European Studies eine Tagung über »The Role of Myths in History and Development in Albania« statt. Sie begann zufällig zeitgleich mit dem Einmarsch der ersten UN-Truppen in den Kosovo. Die Funktion, Bildung und Instrumentalisierung von Mythen in Albanien im historischen und sozialpolitischen Kontext zu betrachten, erwies sich damit als zeitpolitisch hochaktuell. Die gewaltlegitimierende Wirkung der Kosovomythen im sich gegenseitig ausschliessenden Territorialanspruch (die mittelalterliche Schlacht auf dem Amselfeld für die serbische Seite und der »Gegenmythos« der Urabstammung von illyrisch-dardanischen Siedlern auf albanischer Seite) wird der internationalen Gemeinschaft derzeit täglich mit dem Bekanntwerden gewalttätiger Übergriffe im Kosovo vor Augen geführt.

Mit der Unterstützung zum Aufbau eines funktionierenden Bildungssystems im Kosovo wird sich bald die Frage stellen, wie Geschichte weiterhin unterrichtet werden soll - und dies könnte direkte Auswirkungen auf den Geschichtsunterricht in Albanien haben. Wird es nötig sein, wie früher gemeinschaftsstiftende Mythen, wie sie Noel Malcolm in einen großen Bogen als albanische »Schlüsselmythen« (von Illyrianismus über Skanderbeg bis zu heutigen Freund- und Feindbildern) identifizierte, im Unterricht zu reproduzieren, um kompensatorischen Nationalstolz zu schaffen, Verteidigungsbereitschaft zu mobilisieren und ideologische Gleichschaltungsprozesse vorbereiten zu lassen?

What is overlooked however, but what was well known in the West during the late 1980s as the New York Times article below demonstrates, was that ethnic Albanians began expelling Slavs in order to achieve their goal of Greater Albania long before Milosevic had invaded Kosovo. They have almost succeeded since after NATO’s intervention they have driven out hundreds of thousands of Serbs out of Kosovo with those still remaining there being holed up in small enclaves in the north of the province. Why are then the Serbs today demonized while Kosovo Albanians are portrayed as the innocent victims of the Serbian aggression? Perhaps because, as Diana Johnstone writes, “the Soviet bloc had collapsed and the unity of independent, non-aligned Yugoslavia was no longer in the strategic interest of the United States.”

Belgrade, Yugoslavia:

Portions of southern Yugoslavia have reached such a state of ethnic friction that Yugoslavs have begun to talk of the horrifying possibility of “civil war” in a land that lost one-tenth of its population, or 1.7 million people, in World War II.

The current hostilities pit separatist-minded ethnic Albanians against the various Slavic populations of Yugoslavia and occur at all levels of society, from the highest officials to the humblest peasants.

A young Army conscript of ethnic Albanian origin shot up his barracks, killing four sleeping Slavic bunkmates and wounding six others. The army says it has uncovered hundreds of subversive ethnic Albanian cells in its ranks. Some arsenals have been raided.

Vicious Insults

Ethnic Albanians in the Government have manipulated public funds and regulations to take over land belonging to Serbs. And politicians have exchanged vicious insults.

Slavic Orthodox churches have been attacked, and flags have been torn down. Wells have been poisoned and crops burned. Slavic boys have been knifed, and some young ethnic Albanians have been told by their elders to rape Serbian girls.

Ethnic Albanians comprise the fastest growing nationality in Yugoslavia and are expected soon to become its third largest, after the Serbs and Croats.

Radicals’ Goals

The goal of the radical nationalists among them, one said in an interview, is an “ethnic Albania that includes western Macedonia, southern Montenegro, part of southern Serbia, Kosovo and Albania itself.” That includes large chunks of the republics that make up the southern half of Yugoslavia.

Other ethnic Albanian separatists admit to a vision of a greater Albania governed from Pristina in southern Yugoslavia rather than Tirana, the capital of neighboring Albania.

There is no evidence that the hard-line Communist Government in Tirana is giving them material assistance.

The principal battleground is the region called Kosovo,a high plateau ringed by mountains that is somewhat smaller than New Jersey. Ethnic Albanians there make up 85 percent of the population of 1.7 million. The rest are Serbians and Montenegrins.

Worst Strife in Years

As Slavs flee the protracted violence, Kosovo is becoming what ethnic Albanian nationalists have been demanding for years, and especially strongly since the bloody rioting by ethnic Albanians in Pristina in 1981 - an “ethnically pure” Albanian region, a “Republic of Kosovo” in all but name.

The violence, a journalist in Kosovo said, is escalating to “the worst in the last seven years.”

Many Yugoslavs blame the troubles on the ethnic Albanians, but the matter is more complex in a country with as many nationalities and religions as Yugoslavia’s and involves economic development, law, politics, families and flags. As recently as 20 years ago, the Slavic majority treated ethnic Albanians as inferiors to be employed as hewers of wood and carriers of heating coal. The ethnic Albanians, who now number 2 million, were officially deemed a minority, not a constituent nationality, as they are today.

Were the ethnic tensions restricted to Kosovo, Yugoslavia’s problems with its Albanian nationals might be more manageable. But some Yugoslavs and some ethnic Albanians believe the struggle has spread far beyond Kosovo. Macedonia, a republic to the south with a population of 1.8 million, has a restive ethnic Albanian minority of 350,000.

“We’ve already lost western Macedonia to the Albanians,” said a member of the Yugoslav party presidium, explaining that the ethnic minority had driven the Slavic Macedonians out of the region.

Attacks on Slavs

Last summer, the authorities in Kosovo said they documented 40 ethnic Albanian attacks on Slavs in two months.In the last two years, 320 ethnic Albanians have been sentenced for political crimes, nearly half of them characterized as severe.

In one incident, Fadil Hoxha, once the leading politician of ethnic Albanian origin in Yugoslavia, joked at an official dinner in Prizren last year that Serbian women should be used to satisfy potential ethnic Albanian rapists. After his quip was reported this October, Serbian women in Kosovo protested, and Mr. Hoxha was dismissed from the Communist Party.

As a precaution, the central authorities dispatched 380 riot police officers to the Kosovo region for the first time in four years.

Officials in Belgrade view the ethnic Albanian challenge as imperiling the foundations of the multinational experiment called federal Yugoslavia, which consists of six republics and two provinces.

‘Lebanonizing’ of Yugoslavia

High-ranking officials have spoken of the “Lebanonizing” of their country and have compared its troubles to the strife in Northern Ireland.

Borislav Jovic, a member of the Serbian party’s presidency, spoke in an interview of the prospect of “two Albanias, one north and one south, like divided Germany or Korea,” and of “practically the breakup of Yugoslavia.” He added: “Time is working against us.”

The federal Secretary for National Defense, Fleet Adm. Branko Mamula, told the army’s party organization in September of efforts by ethnic Albanians to subvert the armed forces. “Between 1981 and 1987 a total of 216 illegal organizations with 1,435 members of Albanian nationality were discovered in the Yugoslav People’s Army,” he said. Admiral Mamula said ethnic Albanian subversives had been preparing for “killing officers and soldiers, poisoning food and water, sabotage, breaking into weapons arsenals and stealing arms and ammunition, desertion and causing flagrant nationalist incidents in army units.”

Concerns Over Military

Coming three weeks after the ethnic Albanian draftee, Aziz Kelmendi, had slaughtered his Slavic comrades in the barracks at Paracin, the speech struck fear in thousands of families whose sons were about to start their mandatory year of military service.

Because the Albanians have had a relatively high birthrate, one-quarter of the army’s 200,000 conscripts this year are ethnic Albanians. Admiral Mamula suggested that 3,792 were potential human timebombs.

He said the army had “not been provided with details relevant for assessing their behavior.” But a number of Belgrade politicians said they doubted the Yugoslav armed forces would be used to intervene in Kosovo as they were to quell violent rioting in 1981in Pristina. They reason that the army leadership is extremely reluctant to become involved in what is, in the first place, a political issue.

Ethnic Albanians already control almost every phase of life in the autonomous province of Kosovo, including the police, judiciary, civil service, schools and factories. Non-Albanian visitors almost immediately feel the independence- and suspicion - of the ethnic Albanian authorities.

Region’s Slavs Lack Strength

While 200,000 Serbs and Montenegrins still live in the province, they are scattered and lack cohesion. In the last seven years, 20,000 of them have fled the province, often leaving behind farmsteads and houses,for the safety of the Slavic north.

Until September, the majority of the Serbian Communist Party leadership pursued a policy of seeking compromise with the Kosovo party hierarchy under its ethnic Albanian leader, Azem Vlasi.

But during a 30-hour session of the Serbian central committee in late September, the Serbian party secretary, Slobodan Milosevic, deposed Dragisa Pavlovic, as head of Belgrade’s party organization, the country’s largest. Mr. Milosevic accused Mr. Pavlovic of being an appeaser who was soft on Albanian radicals. Mr. Milosevic had courted the Serbian backlash vote with speeches in Kosovo itself calling for “the policy of the hard hand.”

“We will go up against anti-Socialist forces, even if they call us Stalinists,” Mr. Milosevic declared recently. That a Yugoslav politician would invite someone to call him a Stalinist even four decades after Tito’s epochal break with Stalin, is a measure of the state into which Serbian politics have fallen. For the moment, Mr. Milosevic and his supporters appear to be staking their careers on a strategy of confrontation with the Kosovo ethnic Albanians.

Other Yugoslav politicians have expressed alarm. “There is no doubt Kosovo is a problem of the whole country, a powder keg on which we all sit,” said Milan Kucan, head of the Slovenian Communist Party.

Remzi Koljgeci, of the Kosovo party leadership, said in an interview in Pristina that “relations are cold” between the ethnic Albanians and Serbs of the province, that there were too many “people without hope.”

But many of those interviewed agreed it was also a rare opportunity for Yugoslavia to take radical political and economic steps, as Tito did when he broke with the Soviet bloc in 1948.

Efforts are under way to strengthen central authority through amendments to the constitution. The League of Communists is planning an extraordinary party congress before March to address the country’s grave problems.

The hope is that something will be done then to exert the rule of law in Kosovo while drawing ethnic Albanians back into Yugoslavia’s mainstream.

Remember why NATO spent 78-days bombing Yugoslavia in the spring of 1999?There was the ethnic cleansing. The atrocities. The refugees chased out of Kosovo by the Serb army. The mass graves. The heaps of bodies tossed into vats of sulphuric acid at the Trepca mines.NATO spokesman Jamie Shea said there were 100,000 Kosovo Albanian Muslims unaccounted for. THE PROBLEM IS, NONE OF IT HAPPENED!

NATO’s original estimate of 100,000 ethnic Albanians slaughtered, later revised downward to 10,000, turns out to be considerably exaggerated.Dr. Peter Markesteyn, a Winnipeg forensic pathologist, was among the first war crimes investigators to arrive in Kosovo after NATO ended its bombing campaign.”We were told there were 100,000 bodies everywhere,” said Dr. Markesteyn. “We performed 1,800 autopsies — that’s it.”Fewer than 2,000 corpses. None found in the Trepca mines. No remains in the vats of sulphuric acid. Most found in isolated graves — not in the mass graves NATO warned about. And no clue as to whether the bodies were those of KLA terrorists, civilians, even whether they were Serbs or ethnic Albanians.No wonder then that of all the incidents on which Slobodan Milosevic has been indicted for war crimes, the total body count is not 100,000, not 10,000, not even 1,800 — but 391!

It was William Walker, at the time head of the Kosovo Verification Mission (KVM) who, on the morning of January 16, 1999, led the press to the Kosovo village of Racak, a KLA stronghold. There some 20 bodies were found in a shallow trench, and 20 more were found scattered throughout the village. The KLA terrorists, and Walker, alleged that masked Serb policemen had entered the village the previous day, and killed men, women and children at close range, after torturing and mutilating them. Chillingly, the Serb police were said to have whistled merrily as they went about their work of slaughtering the villagers.Clinton’s Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, as eager to scratch her ever itchy trigger finger as her boss was to scratch his illimitable sexual itches, demanded that Yugoslavia be bombed immediately. Albright, like a kid agonizingly counting down the hours to Christmas, would have to wait until after Milosevic’s rejection of NATO’s ultimata at Rambouillet to get her wish.But not everyone was so sure that William Walker’s story was to be believed. The French newspaper La Monde had some trouble swallowing the story. It reported on Jan. 21, 1999, a few days after the incident, that an Associated Press TV crew had filmed a gun battle at Racak between Serb police and KLA terrorists. Indeed, the crew was present because the Serbs had tipped them off that they were going to enter the village to arrest a man accused of shooting a police officer. Also present were two teams of KVM monitors.It seems unlikely that if you’re about to carry out a massacre that you would invite the press — and international observers — to watch.And now there’s a report that the Finnish forensic pathologists who investigated the incident on behalf of the European Union, say there was no evidence of a massacre. In an article to be published in Forensic Science International at the end of February, the Finnish team writes that none of the bodies were mutilated, there was no evidence of torture, and only one was shot at close range.

The pathologists say Walker was quick to come to the conclusion that there was a massacre, even though the evidence was weak.And they point out that there is no evidence that the deceased were from Racak.The KLA terrorists, the Serbs charge, faked the massacre by laying out their fallen comrades in the trench they, themselves, prepared, and the United States used the staged massacre as a pretext for the bombing.

Trial Hears of KLA Terror Tactics

Former attaché Colonel John Crosland – whose face was hidden from
public view by screens and image distortion, just as it was when he
testified against Slobodan Milosevic in July 2002 – told judges on
Thursday that clashes between the fledgling KLA and Serbian forces began
well before the Lapusnik camp is alleged to have opened, and intensified
through the course of 1998.
He also said the KLA regularly kidnapped ethnic Serbs in an effort
to terrorise the population, and attacked Albanians it suspected of
collaboration.
But while he spoke of training programmes, supply routes and
regional headquarters, he expressed some scepticism about the extent to
which the KLA had an organised command structure at the time.
Crosland’s testimony was largely made up of comments on a series of
“diplomatic telegrams” presented to him by the prosecution. The bulk of
these documents are still under seal, and two legal advisors of the
British government were present in the courtroom throughout his
testimony to ensure this measure was respected.
With reference to the events described in these reports, Crosland
told judges that even as early as March and April 1998, clashes between
Serbian forces and ethnic Albanian rebels in the Drenica Valley – a KLA
heartland - were spreading to the area around the border with Albania,
where the KLA was bringing in munitions and men along traditional
smuggling routes.
According to the diplomatic reports, by the second half of April,
western journalists were saying that the KLA virtually controlled areas
just over the border in Albania.
There were also indications that the KLA was operating training
camps in the Albanian towns of Tropoja, Bajram Curri and Kukes.

One diplomatic report presented by the prosecution noted that
kidnappings of Serbs had reached such a point that Serbs were beginning
to avoid travel around Kosovo.
“In October we estimated something like 200 Serbs were missing,
presumed having been kidnapped by Albanian elements,” Crosland told the
judges.
The witness also discussed media reports that the KLA had carried
out grenade attacks on businesses and restaurants in Pec belonging to
Albanians who were suspected of collaborating with the Serbs.
“These attacks… were similar to what went on throughout this
campaign, where Albanians who were seen to be siding with the Serb
administration were taken out and their businesses either bombed and
they themselves murdered,” Crosland told judges.
The trial continues.

Blutige Geschäfte: Auf den Spuren des Organhandels im Kosovo

Das ZDF strahlte am 13.07.2011 um 23:45 Uhr eine Reportage des Frontal 21-Teams über Kriegsverbrechen, Organhandel und die Verstrickung Deutschlands in Verbrechen im Kosovo aus. Sevim Dadelen, Mitglied im Auswärtigen Ausschuss des Deutschen Bundestages und Sprecherin der Fraktion DIE LINKE. für Internationale Beziehungen kritisiert seit langem die Kontinuitäten der deutschen Balkanpolitik, welche Verbrechen wie den illegalen Organhandel erst möglich gemacht hat.

Hintergrund ist die Antwort der Bundesregierung auf ihre Kleine Anfrage „Verstrickungen hochrangiger kosovarischer Politiker und Beamter in illegale Handlungen” (17/6036) über die Komplizenschaft hochrangiger kosovarischer Politiker wie dem sog. Premierminister Hashim Thaçi, der von der Bundesregierung hofiert wird, in Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit.

Am 9.06.2011 hat Sevim Dadelen im Deutschen Bundestag die Rede „KFOR beenden - Bundeswehr raus aus dem Kosovo”gehalten.

Differences also involve linguistic phenomena and the strong influence of the Serbian language and culture in Kosovo.

“Serbian influence is very present in language in Kosovo, in the syntax, in the lexicon and in everyday life,” Pandeli Pani, an Albanian scholar at Bonn University, explained.

“For example, Albanians have taken most technological words from Italian or French while the Kosovars were more influenced by Serbian and sometimes by German.”

“There are many differences between Kosovars and Albanians in Albania,” Kreshnik Ibrahimi, the Kosovar actor who plays in the Erand Sojli’s sketch show, says.

“When I moved to Tirana, I had many difficulties working with Albanians from Albania,” he recalls. “They have a very different mentality compared to ours in Kosovo.”

Ibrahimi is the only Kosovo actor to have starred in the popular Albanian show Portokalli for years.

“All the other actors from Kosovo stayed only short periods because our sense of humour and theirs are different - and the public in Albania didn’t quite get it”.

Linguist Pandeli Pani says Albanians became more aware of their differences with Kosovars in 1999, when large numbers of people fled to Albania during the Kosovo conflict. “Before that, we didn’t have systematic contacts and didn’t know each others’ realities,” he reflects.

Most people in Kosovo speak the northern Gheg dialect of Albanian, while Albania’s standard language since 1972 has been based on the southern Tosk dialect.
Enver Robelli, a Kosovo journalist on the daily Koha Ditore, said this difference has had an impact on mutual perceptions.

“Many negative stereotypes regarding Kosovars in Albania are caused by language and by the way that people in Albania perceive the way Kosovars speak,” he said.

“Even the fact that Kosovars speak slowly makes people in Tirana think that Kosovars are less intelligent than Albanians from Albania,” he added.…………………

Kosovo Mafia Boss Jakup Krasniqi, verweigert die Aufhebung der Immunität, seiner Politik Freunde

 Gerade erhält der Kosovo, erneute 203 Millionen €, wo Berufs und Traditions Kriminelle wie Jakup Krasniqi und Tausende andere Profi Kriminelle im Kosovo gut leben, welche sich Politiker nennen.

Der sogenannte Parlaments Präsident des Kosovo: Jakup Krasniqi, aus hoch krimineller Familie, verweigert der EULEX eine Antwort, auf Aufhebung der Immunität von etlichen Mafia Politikern des Parlamentes. Man verweigert die Aufhebung sogar schriftlich, und schreibt der EULEX, das man ja vor das Verfassungsgericht gehen könnte. Es zeigt deutlich, wo der Kosovo nach 12 Jahren EU-US-UN Herrschaft steht, nämlich im Bodenlosen Nichts. Das ist Original Albanische Mentalität, aber auch bei Serben, wie rund um Darko Saric zu erkennen.
Der US Botschafter Alexander Dell, reagiert nun ziemlich deutlich gegen diese kriminellen Machenschaften des Jakup Krasniqi, der seine Freunde deckt und schützt und nicht seinen Aufgaben gerecht wird.

Die Dreistigkeit von Kriminellen wie Jakup Krasniqi, auch noch einen frechen Brief an die EULEX zu schreiben, wo Alles von der EU finanziert wird, weil der Kosovo nicht überlebends fähig ist und die Politiker zu dumm und kriminell, für eine Administration!

Ambasadori i SHBA Dell: Jakup Krasniqi po sfidon komunitetin ndërkombëtar

Ambasadori amerikan në Prishtinë, Kristofer Dell reagoi ashpër ndaj refuzimit të krye parlamentarit Jakup Krasniqi për të kërkuar heqjen e imunitetit të disa deputetëve që janë nën hetime.

Në një intervistë ekskluzive për Zërin e Amerikës, ambasadori Dell tha se me këtë qëndrim, kryetari i Parlamentit, Jakup Krasniqi, “ka zgjedhur të sfidojë komunitetin ndërkombëtar, të sfidojë miqtë më të mirë të Kosovës në emër të mbrojtjes së një apo dy miqve të tij”.

Ai tha se përderisa zoti Krasniqi “nuk dëshmon ndjenjë më të lartë të përgjegjesisë për të zgjidhur shumë probleme që ka pasur deri tash, do të jetë e pamundur për Shtetet e Bashkuara që të vazhdojnë të punojnë me të si partner”.

Sot, kryetari i parlamentit, Jakup Krasniqi, paraqiti para anëtarëve të Kryesisë përgjigjen që i ka kthyer shefit të EULEX-it, Ksavier Bu dë Marnjak, i cili kërkonte heqjen e imunitetit të deputetëve nën hetime.

Zoti Krasniqi shkruan në letrën drejtuar shefit të EULEX-it se nuk është përgjegjësi e Parlamenti të merret me çështjen e imunitetit dhe se në bazë të Kushtetutës, qeveria mund të kërkojë nga Gjykata Kushtetuese interpretim për imunitetin e deputetëve.

Reactions have not waned following the release of Transparency International’s report released at the end of June, which stated that Kosovo lacks political will to fight corruption.

The report — Comparative Indicator-based Monitoring of Anti-corruption Progress Initiative (CIMAP) — is based on EU governance and anti-corruption membership requirements for Albania, Macedonia, Turkey, and Kosovo.

“Ensuring that anti-corruption reforms are implemented and irreversible is essential to provide for a credible accession process and uniform approach to corruption across Europe,” Transparency International Liaison Office to the EU head Jana Mittermaier said.

The report does not offer exact data on the corruption level in Kosovo due to the difficulty of collecting data on corruption. The main indicators used include the perception of corruptive practices and the frequency courts deal with corruption cases.

Kosovo Urged to Complete Ahtisaari Plan
