Bruder Basescus machte Geschäfte mit Waffenproduzenten

Bukarest - Der rumänische Staatspräsident Traian Basescu ist wegen der geschäftlichen Aktivitäten seines Bruders, Mircea Basescu, unter Druck geraten. “Wenn mein Bruder sich noch einmal an einer so dubiosen Firma beteiligt, kann es sein, dass ich nicht wieder kandidiere”, sagte Basescu am Freitag nach Angaben der rumänischen Nachrichtenagentur Mediafax. “Vor Feinden kann man sich schützen, vor dem eigenen Bruder ist das sehr schwer”, fügte der Präsident hinzu.

Zuvor war publik geworden, dass Basescus Bruder Teilhaber einer Firma ist, die Geschäfte mit Waffenproduzenten macht. Gegenüber der Agentur Agerpress erklärte Mircea Basescu am Freitag, dass er alle Anteile an der Firma aufgegeben habe. In diesem Herbst stehen in Rumänien Präsidentenwahlen bevor. Basescu hat bisher mehrfach gesagt, dass er sich noch nicht entschieden habe, ob er für die Wiederwahl kandidiert. Zuletzt hatte er diese Entscheidung davon abhängig gemacht, in welchem Tempo sich Rumänien von den Folgen der globalen Finanzkrise erholt.

Basescu betonte, dass er erst Donnerstagabend erfahren habe, dass sein Bruder zu 30 Prozent Teilhaber der Firma Defense, Security and Intelligence CO - Desintco SRL ist. Der Präsident habe seinen Bruder aufgefordert, sich aus dieser Firma zurückzuziehen. Die übrigen Teilhaber sind ein früherer Direktor des staatlichen rumänischen Waffenproduzenten Romarm und dessen Verwandte. Desintco SRL produziere keine Waffen, sondern vermittle Handel mit Militärtechnik, hieß es seitens der Firma. (APA/dpa)

 Inzwischen stehen 204 Hotels zum Verkauf, denn das wilde Herumbauen durch Mafiöse Politiker zeigt nun ernste Folgen mit dem Wegbleiben der Touristen. Eine ähnliche Situation ist in Albanien (wo man die Zahlen durch die Kosovo und Mazedonischen Touristen kompensiert), in Montenegro und Kroatien.

Real estate agents in the Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Burgas report that 204 hotels are currently up for sale in the region, Novinite reports. From Novinite

Of these, the asking price for 85 hotels is over one million euros. Many of the others are family run guest houses, still officially counted as hotels, BGNES reports.

Novinite reports that, in most cases, sellers appear to have unrealistic expectations, looking to sell their establishments for upwards of 300 euros per square metre - well above the estimated sale price foreseen by agents.

Brokers say the high asking prices reflect the fact that many owners are encumbered by debt.

Eng sind oft der Polizei Apparate mit der OK und der Politik in Albanien verbunden. Wie die Albanischen Medien mitteilen, gehört Dritan Dajti zu der hoch kriminellen Bande um “Lul” Berisha

Und Rezzo Schlauch ist sowieso bei jeden Verbrecher Geschäft dabei, wenn es nach Mord und Geschäft stinkt.

Koeficienti i larte i humbjeve ne radhet e policise shqiptare ne luften kunder krimit, ngre pikepyetje te rendesishme ne lidhje me te gjithe strukturen, organizimin dhe politikat e luftes kunder krimit te organizuar dhe jo vetem ne Shqiperi. Megjithe perpjekjet e shumta te forcave te rendit, krimi i organizuar serish arrin te jete i suksesshem ne neutralizimin e tyre. Pikerisht per kete, lufta kunder krimit te organizuar kerkon jo vetem nje perballje frontale, por shterim te te gjitha mjeteve dhe menyrave qe e forcojne ate. Vendi yne fatkeqesisht ofron shume mundesi oportune qe krimi i organizuar te zhvillohet, sic jane niveli i larte i korrupsionit, evazioni shqetesues fiskal (mbi 30% e veprimeve financiare kryen jashte institucioneve te autorizuara) dhe pozicioni mjaft i volitshem gjeografik. Nga ana tjeter, nje faktor tjeter po aq i rendesishem eshte edhe struktura shume e shperndare ne vend e luftes kunder krimit te organizuar apo dhe veprave penale qe lidhen direkt ose indirekt me te, si korrupsioni pasiv apo aktiv, pastrimi i parave, cilesi dokumentesh shteterore lehtesisht te manipulueshem, si dhe niveli mjaft i ulet i perditshmerise te strukturave policore ne pergjithesi, me njohurite bashkekohore per teknikat e perdorura nga krimi i organizuar sot. Per kete arsye, mbase eshte koha qe shteti shqiptar te hedh hapa konkrete, per ngritjen e FBI-s shqiptare, nje shembull qe me shume sukses po e ndjek dhe Britania e Madhe, koheve te fundit me Agjencine kunder Krimeve te Renda (SOCA). Por perpara se te shkojme ne argumentimin se pse ngritja e nje strukture te tille eshte emergjente ne Shqiperi, do te ishte me interes te shtjellonim disa detaje, te cilat nuk jane evidentuar dukshem ne analizat e fundit te ngjarjes ne Durres.

Albanian Gangster Gave Interviews On The Run

A convicted murderer, accused of killing four police officers during his recent arrest, lived undisturbed for years and even gave interviews.  When police officers from a special unit of the Interior Ministry parked their car behind a black SUV on August 7, in the port town of Durres, they knew they were after one of Albania’s most dangerous gangsters.

Inside the Volkswagen Touareg was Dritan Dajti, who escaped from a Tirana courtroom in 2003 and was listed as one of Albania’s ten most wanted criminals.

As four officers left the car and approached Dajti’s SUV, only one block from a beach crowded with tourists, he pulled out two pistols and started shooting.

All four officers died in the exchange, which witnesses described as “a real battle”. Dajti was shot three times and gravely wounded, before being taken into custody. An accomplice, Ledion Mara, was shot and killed, and a third man was arrested.

Albania has not seen this number of police deaths in a single incident since 1997, when the country descended into anarchy after the collapse of a series of pyramid-like investment schemes.

The high death toll has raised suspicions that Dajti was tipped off before the officers moved in to make the arrest.

Prosecutors from Tirana’s Serious Crimes Office are currently investigating several officers, found to have been in contact with Dajti and his accomplices, to shed light on his ties to police.

During his time on the run, Dajti is suspected of having been involved in paid murders and drug trafficking, and of running a racketeering ring.

While debate rages over the reasons why Dajti eluded capture for so long, Balkan Insight has learned that it was not just that he managed to operate undisturbed in and around Tirana, but he also met several times with an investigative reporter probing his criminal activities.

On June 7, 2008, a few hours before the start of the European football championship, investigative reporter Artan Hoxha was relaxing at home, waiting to watch the opening ceremony and subsequent match over a cold beer, when he received “a call from a person I knew who asked if we could grab a cup of coffee”.

“We met downtown and then drove to a suburb of Tirana, up the slopes of Mont Dajti, where we sat up in a small bar placed on a natural balcony overlooking the city,” he said.

“A few minutes later, two SUVs and a Mercedes pulled up in the parking lot. A man [exited] one the SUV’s and opened the back door, from which Dritan Dajti emerged,” Hoxha said.

In April 2008, Hoxha had started gathering information and talking to sources about Dajti for a TV documentary to be broadcast in his weekly show, Jungle, on local channel News 24.

Dajti’s spectacular escape from the Tirana District Court in 2003, wielding a pistol, had all the ingredients of an action movie.

He had been sentenced, in absentia, to 25 years in prison, for the murder of a Tirana real estate developer and the court escape. He has repeatedly claimed he was wrongly convicted and that the charges against him are politically motvated.

However, Hoxha explains, it was not only the spectacular escape that made him a prominent figure on Albania’s crime scene.

“In the subsequent years that he was on the run, police would often [raise] his name when speaking of unsolved murders or racketeering cases, although they would not go public with their suspicions,” says Hoxha.

Returning to his account of their initial meeting, Hoxha said that, after they chatted for around an hour, Dajti asked him if he was planning to do a story on him. He added that he would not appreciate this as: “I have tried to stay out the public view”.

“I replied that I was only interested in the spectacular [nature] of his escape and that my show always tried to give both sides of the story,” Hoxha said.

He says that Dajti’s appearance had not changed much since his escape in 2003. He held a Czech-made pistol under his shirt and a small bag, with an extra ammunition clip and insulin injections inside. He suffers from diabetes.

“He was a well-spoken man and appeared well-read, especially in jurisprudence,” recalls Hoxha. Before his arrest in 1999, for the murder of the real estate developer, Dajti had been only a few exams shy of graduating with a law degree from the University of Tirana.

The June 9, 2008 meet was not the only time the reporter met Dajti. Over the last year, Dajti arranged at least eight other surprise meetings, through different people. The last occured only a week before the June 28 parliamentary elections.

“He always said that he was not afraid of being arrested by the police, and alluded to having bought political protection,” Hoxha said. “He was moving around Tirana in plain view and did not give the perception that he feared arrest.”

One of the alleged meetings happened within view of the street, at a restaurant just metres from the prime minister’s office. On another occasion, Dajti and his accomplices dropped Hoxha off right in front of the Tirana District Court, from which he had escaped six years earlier.

“In the last meeting he was feeling euphoric,” said Hoxha. “After appealing his 25-year prison sentence to the [European Court of Human Rights] in Strasburg, he felt that he could overturn his sentence.”

Der Prozeß hat nun begonnen!

Nun hat der Prozeß gegen den Mörder Dritan Dajti begonnen, der schon 2003 wegen Mord an einem prominenten Geschäftsmann verurteilt war und so einfach aus dem Gefängniss fliehen konnte, weil man sich Alles kaufen konnten und die Polizei praktisch 100% von der Mafia übernommen war.

Angeklagt ist auch sein Freund: Georgi Ergest und ehemaliger Mitarbeiter der Polizei von Durres, Mariglen Muca, der Kommissar war, für die Pista Illyria, wo Alles von Kriminellen seit Jahren unter Kontrolle ist. Mariglen Muca, war eine Cooperation mit den Banden um Dritan Dajti eingegangen, der trotz Haft Befehl ungehindert auch ins Ausland reisen konnte. Wer wohl da wieder die Visas ausgestellt hat und wer die Visa Garantien besorgte.

Sot Gjykata e Krimeve të Rënda më në fund ka nisur procesin gjyqësor ndaj Dritan Dajtit që akuzohet për vrasjen e katër punonjësve të Policisë së Shtetit në Gusht të vitit 2009 në Durrës.
Në këtë proces, Dajti që nuk ishte i pranishëm në seancë do të procedohet së bashku me dy të dyshuarit si bashkëpunetorë të tij, kunatin e tij, Ergest Xhorxhi dhe ish- punonjësin e policisë së Durrësit, Mariglen Muça.
Dy prokurorët që ndoqën cështjen janë Ardian Nezha dhe Eugent Beci.
Gjatë seancës sot në Gjykatën e Krimeve të Rënda, përfaqësuesi i prokurorisë, Ardian Nezha, lexoi për afro 30 minuta kërkesën për procedimin e 3 të pandehurve, duke njoftuar akuzat e rënda të ngritura ndaj tyre.
Prokurori Nezha prezantoi rezultatet e hetimit për ngjarjen e rëndë të 9 Gushtit të 2009 në Durrës, duke e akuzuar të pandehurin Dajti si autorin e vrasjes me armë zjarri të katër ish-oficerëve të Policisë së Shtetit, Festim Xhanin, Artur Duçkollarin, Altin Dizdarin dhe Kastriot Feskën.
Më tej, prokurori Nexha tregoi akuzat e ngritura për dy të pandehurit e tjerë të procesit. Kështu, të pandehurin Ergest Xhoxhi e akuzoi për përkrahjen e Dajtit në tentativat e tij për t’iu shmangur forcave të rendit kur ishte në kërkim si dhe për falsifikim dokumentesh. Ndërkohë që ish- punonjësin e Policisë së Durrësit, Mariglen Muca, e akuzoi për “abuzim me detyrën”, duke nënkuptuar ndihmën e dhënë prej tij ndaj Dajtit kur ai ishte në kërkim nga autoritet e drejtësisë.
Gjatë kësaj seance, prokurori listoi edhe provat për të provuar fajesinë e të pandehurve si dhe paraqiti listën me dëshmitarët që do të thërriten në këtë proces, që janë mbi 20 persona.
Pjesemarrës në këtë seancë ishin të pandehurit Mariglen Muca dhe Ergest Xhoxhi, ndërsa mungoi për arsye shëndetësore i pandehuri Dritan Dajti. Para hapjes së procesit gjyqësor, dy të pandehurit kërkuan veçimin e cështjes nga ajo e Dajtit, por kërkesa e tyre është kundërshtuar nga prokuroria e më pas Gjykata me argumentimin se dëmtohet procesi.
Seanca e sotme shënon fillimin e shqyrtimit gjyqësor të çështjes, pas shumë seancash të pezulluara në këto tre muaj përgjithësisht për shkak të mungesës së të pandehurve dhe avokatëve të tyre mbrojtës.
Gjithcka që lidhet me këtë proces ka ndodhur më 9 Gusht të vitit 2009 në Durrës, ku katër efektivë të Policisë së Shtetit mbetën të vrarë me armë zjarri në operacionin për të arrestuar të shumëkërkuarin Dritan Dajti.
I pandehuri Dajti akuzohet se hapi zjarr ndaj forcave të rendit duke vrarë efektivët e policisë Festim Xhanin, Artur Duçkollarin, Altin Dizdarin dhe Kastriot Feskën, shpallur Dëshmorë të Atdheut. Gjatë shkëmbit të zjarrit me policinë, i pandehuri Dajti akuzohet se ka vrarë edhe mikun e tij Ledion Mara.
I plagosur edhe vetë në këtë operacion, Dajti u arrestua dhe më pas u izolua në Spitalin e Burgut. Pas trajtimit mjeksor, ai është izoluar në qelitë e burgut të Tiranës.
38 vjecari Dajti ishte shpallur në kërkim nga autoritet policore, pasi ishte arratisur nga Gjykata e Tiranës në vitin 2003, ndërsa procedohej për vrasjen e një biznesmeni në Tiranë për të cilën u dënua me burgim. Gjatë kohës që ishte në arrati, Dajti, sipas burimeve të policisë, mendohet se ka qenë edhe jashtë vendit, ku dyshohet se është përfshirë në veprimtari ilegale. Ndërkohë që kohët e fundit ai strehohej në qytetin e Durrësit dhe prezantohej si nënkomisar policie.
