The Dutch-made “The Brooklyn Connection” discusses threats by
Albanians to begin terrorism against the international community
unless Kosovo becomes independent.

Part of the film shows guerrilla commander Fljoren Krasnici buying
military supplies, including an elephant gun, in a shop, before
having it delivered by plane an mule-teams to Kosovo.

In one sequence of the film, Krasnici and a mule driver set off from
Albania for Kosovo with the words “Now let’s go kill some Serbs”.

Gazeta risjell këtë analizë të botuar ditën e zgjedhjeve në lidhje me profilin e Ilir Metës dhe rolin e tij në këtë proces zgjedhor

Ilir Meta, udhëheqësi i grupimit më të madh opozitar në Shqipëri, ka një biografi politike të pazakontë. Ai ka hyrë në politikën shqiptare si pjesë e delegacionit të studentëve të Dhjetorit që shkuan t’i kërkojnë pluralizëm politik Ramiz Alisë, në dhjetor të vitit 1990 dhe përfundoi më pas në krye të qeverisë së Partisë Socialiste, që ishte një trashëgimtare politike e ish-komunistëve.

Në vitin 1991 ai themeloi Forumin Rinor Eurosocialist Shqiptar, duke futur së pari termin evropian në politikën e së majtës shqiptare. Në vitin 1992 u zgjodh deputet i Skraparit për Partinë Socialiste. Ai u bë i njohur në shtator të vitit 1992, kur udhëhoqi një protestë të qytetarëve të Poliçanit kundër mbylljes së Kombinatit të Armëve për shkak të reformave në ushtri. PD në pushtet i hoqi atij imunitetin në Kuvend, por çështja nuk shkoi më tej.

Pas arrestimit të Fatos Nanos dhe rritjes së frymës konservatore në Partinë Socialiste, Ilir Meta, iu bashkua grupit që kërkonin ta moderonin politikën e Partisë Socialiste. Ai filloi të artikulonte më shumë orientimin perëndimor të Shqipërisë dhe nevojën për bashkëpunim me institucionet perëndimore.

FRESH u bë pikënisja e kontakteve perëndimore për Partinë Socialiste, sidomos me të majtën italiane dhe ato të vendeve skandinave.

Në vitin 1995-1996 ai ishte një nga katër nënkryetarët e Partisë Socialiste, por i rreshtuar kundër mbështetësve të zotit Nano. Karriera e tij u vu në rrezik, për shkak të shigjetimeve se po punonte për të rrëzuar nga kreu i PS liderin e burgosur, Fatos Nano.

Por pozitat e tij politike u forcuan shpejt. Pas vitit 1997 ai u emërua fillimisht si sekretari Jashtëm, një post identik me zëvendësministrin e Jashtëm.

Kur Pandeli Majko u bë kryeministër pas 14 shtatorit 1998, Ilir Meta mori postin e zëvendëskryeministrit. Kongresi i 1999 i Partisë Socialiste ishte një moment dramatik. Kandidatura e shumëpritur e Pandeli Majkos për kreun e PS u rrëzua bashkë me qeverinë e tij. Fatos Nano, i cili u ri-kurorëzua kryetar i PS, pranoi më lehtë Ilir Metën për kryeministër.

Kryeministri më i ri në Evropë nisi kështu një karrierë politike të pazakontë. I vendosur të linte gjurmë, ai u përkushtua pas infrastrukturës së shkatërruar të vendit pas punëve publike dhe menaxhimit me dorë të fortë. Ai arriti të përfundojë autostradën gjysmake Tiranë-Durrës një segment të rrugës Kavajë-Rrogozhinë, rrugën e Qafës së Llogorasë, rregulloi parkun “Rinia” në Tiranë dhe mbështeti dukshëm Edi Ramën në projektet e tij për punët publike.

Zgjedhjet e vitit 2001 ishin një test i madh politik për të. I gjendur mes rrezikut të rikthimit të Fatos Nanos dhe nevojës për zgjedhje të lira, ai zgjodhi një të mesme, e cila la gjurmë në jetën e tij politike. Zgjedhjet e 2001 ishin qartësisht jashtë standardeve, por të pranuara. Policia u përdor qartë në shumë qendra votimi dhe Gjykata Kushtetuese veproi pa shumë takt në gjykimin e 40 mandateve. Komuniteti perëndimor njohu qeverinë e re, por nuk njohu një shumicë për president.

Pak muaj para se të afrohej çështja e presidentit, kryetari i PS, Fatos Nano, nisi një fushatë të pazakontë antikorrupsion të përkufizuar si katarsis. Fillimisht i vetëm, por duke mbledhur energji rrugës, Fatos Nano përdori grupin parlamentar si mekanizëm bllokues ndaj qeverisë së Ilir Metës. Në janar të vitit 2002, pas presionit publik dhe bllokimit në Kuvend, Fatos Nano e detyroi Ilir Metën të dorëhiqet. Prej atëherë nisi një luftë e ftohtë ende e pambyllur mes tij dhe partisë së zotit Nano.

Në kongresin e vitit 2003, Nano përjashtoi Ilir Metën dhe grupin e tij nga forumet e PS. Ilir Meta, i cili ishte ende formalisht zëvendëskryeministër i kabinetit të Fatos Nanos, kishte dhënë dorëheqjen që në verë.

Pas përjashtimit dhe nga forumet drejtuese në Kongres ai po shikonte të ardhmen e tij jashtë PS. Në pranverë të vitit 2004 ai formoi Lëvizjen Socialiste për Integrim, një strukturë politike shumë solide, bazuar te veprimi dhe aksioni politik, por dhe te lidhjet njerëzore e krahinore.

Fatos Nano e nënvleftësoi fillimisht fuqinë e saj, por në zgjedhjet e vitit 2005 partia e zotit Meta u bë varrmihësja kryesore e pushtetit të Fatos Nanos.

Pas ardhjes në pushtet të PD, Ilir Meta fillimisht ndoqi një linjë të butë bashkëpunimi, e cila u egërsua menjëherë në vitin 2006, kur PD tentoi të riformatonte Komisionin Qendror të Zgjedhjeve. Gjesti i tij i forcës duke hipur sipër tavolinave mbeti emblematik për parlamentin. Kuvendi u bllokua dhe pas një marrëveshjeje të re u bënë ndryshimet kushtetuese që prishën disa ekuilibra politikë. Në zgjedhjet lokale të vitit 2006-2007, ai u bashkua me Partinë Socialiste nën premtimin se së bashku do të bënin një Kod Elektoral të favorshëm për LSI.

Me gjithë joshjet nga Berisha, Ilir Meta i qëndroi besnik Edi Ramës deri në përfundim të zgjedhjeve.

Pas zgjedhjeve Meta kërkoi të nisnin një bashkëpunim institucional për Kodin Elektoral. Por duket se këtu interesat e tij dhe të zotit Rama ndaheshin. Megjithëse të dy e tregojnë ndryshe historinë e ndarjes, e qartë është se Kodi Elektoral, i hartuar me firmën e zotit Rama, prek qartë interesat e LSI.

Kjo e armiqësoi atë ndjeshëm me Partinë Socialiste dhe e futi në një grevë urie njëjavore për të tërhequr vëmendjen e opinionit publik ndaj këtij monopoli dypartiak.

Në këtë fushatë zgjedhore ai ka hyrë me një koalicion partish të vogla nga e majta, të cilat synojnë të përbëjnë një pakicë bllokuese në Kuvend.

Objektivi i fundit i zotit Meta është të jetë ai forca që do të vendosë për pushtetin e së majtës. Të presim 28 qershorin për ta parë këtë.

The Socialist Movement for Integration, LSI, announced on Saturday, that it had accepted a request from right-wing incumbent Prime Minister Sali Berisha, to join the ruling coalition after last Sunday’s poll. Speaking at a press conference in Tirana, the LSI head and former Socialist Prime Minister Ilir Meta said that the decision had been difficult, however this was the right thing to do when the country faced political and economic crises.

“This is once of the toughest decision I have taken in my two decades in politics,” Meta said. “We are forced to move toward an agreement which serves Albania and Albanians and their European Union integration hopes,” he added, pointing that after the results of Sunday’s poll cooperation with Socialist Party leader and Tirana mayor Edi Rama was impossible.

However, in an interview with Balkan Insight on the eve of the elections Meta had strongly rejected a possible coalition with Berisha.

“It’s not only impossible but also unnecessary,” Meta said in the interview.

Massenhinrichtung im Iran

In einem Gefängnis nahe der iranischen Hauptstadt Teheran sind 20 Todesurteile vollstreckt worden. Wie die Nachrichtenagentur Fars meldete, wurden die zwischen 35 und 48 Jahre alten Gehenkten wegen Drogenhandels zum Tode verurteilt. Die Verurteilten wurden demnach im Gefängnis von Karadsch hingerichtet. Damit wurden im Iran seit Jahresbeginn mindestens 161 Menschen hingerichtet, wie aus einer Zählung der Nachrichtenagentur AFP auf Basis von Presseberichten hervorgeht. Im vergangenen Jahr lag die Zahl der Hinrichtungen im Iran demnach bei 246, die Menschenrechtsorganisation Amnesty International hatte sogar 346 Hinrichtungen im vergangenen Jahr gemeldet. Im Iran wurden in den vergangenen Jahren mehr und mehr Todesurteile vollstreckt - im Zuge einer Kampagne, die die Sicherheit im Land verbessern soll. Die Todesstrafe steht unter anderem auf Mord, Vergewaltigung und Ehebruch.

Weil Deutsche Politiker Partner der Drogen Kartelle im Kosovo und Afghanistan sind, gibt es solche klaren Urteile nicht. Die Politiker Reihen vor allem der SPD und Grünen Partei würden sich lichten.

Shqiptari kishte vjedhur shtepine e ish futbollistit te njohur te Lacios, Giuseppe Signori. Ne apartamentin e hajdutit, policia gjeti shume objekte me vlere, sende prej ari, mermeri etj me vlere 200 mije euro te cilat ju i shihni edhe ne foto. Nuk perjashtohet mundesia qe hajduti shqiptar te kete vjedhur edhe shtepine e personalitetit italian te botes se spektaklit, Renzo Arbore. Ajo qe i rane ne sy policise ishte stili i arredimit te apartamentit te hajdutit shqiptar, qe ngjante me shtepine e Toni Montanes ne filmin “Njeriu me shenje”.

ROMË - Policia italiane ka arrestuar sot një 32 vjeçar shqiptar me inicialet D.V, të cilit iu sekuestruan në banesë sende me vlerë të madhe monetare që i kishte vjedhur nëpër banesa. I arrestuari bënte pjesë në një bande që vidhnin shtëpitë e pasanikeve dhe VIP-ve. Shqiptari dyshohet se ka vjedhur shtëpinë e ish futbollistit të njohur të Lacios, Giuseppe Signori.

Në apartamentin e tij, policia gjeti shumë objekte me vlere, sende prej ari, mermeri etj. me vlere 200 mijë euro. “Nuk perjashtohet mundesia që hajduti shqiptar të ketë grabitur edhe shtepinë e Renzo Arbore”, shkruajnë mediat italiane që i referohen policisë së Romës. Ajo që iu ra në sy karabinieëve ishte edhe arredimi i shtëpisë së arrestuarit një fans e Toni Mantanës i cili jetonte si ‘Njeriu me shenjë’, film që interpretohet nga Al Pacino.

HIer erklärt er die illegalgen Betrugs Geschäfte um den berüchtigten Ex-Serbischen Geheimdienst Chef Damir Fazllic mit der aktuellen Regierung und mit Tom Ridge.

Eng verbunden ist die Geschichte auch mit dem hoch kriminellen Aussenminister von Albanien Lulzim Basha, der schon im Kosovo abzockte unter dem UNMIK Deckmantel

Fatos Lubonja ist einer der Wenigen Prominenten in Albanien, die Klartext ueber die Zustaende sprechen.

“Camorra-ähnliche Oligarchen-Kaste”

Der unabhängige Kommentator Fatos Lubonja sieht Albanien fest in den Händen einer “camorra-ähnlichen Oligarchen-Kaste”, die - durch Privatisierungen reich geworden - nicht nur die Wirtschaft, sondern auch die Medien weitgehend kontrolliere. Berisha und der Hauptstadt-Bürgermeister Rama schanzten den Oligarchen ihres Lagers staatliche Gelder und Aufträge zu. Nachdem der Wohnungsbau nicht mehr so lukrativ ist, forciert der Regierungschef nun den Bau von Kraftwerken aller Art, um Albanien zu einem regionalen Energieversorgungszentrum zu machen - und zugleich seinen Günstlingen ein neues Tätigkeitsfeld zu bieten.

Rama wirbt zwar mit “Wandel”, mit der Freunderlwirtschaft will er aber offenbar nicht aufräumen. Immerhin ist er einer der wenigen führenden Politiker, der schon einer neuen Generation angehört.

Who Owns Ukrainian Gas

The Wall Street Journal reported the other day, citing informed sources in Europe and the United States, that the US Justice Department has started investigating the operations of RosUkrEnergo. The company supplies gas from Russia and Central Asia to Ukraine, as well as to Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Estonia. Americans grew curious about the composition of owners of the company considering its structure non-transparent.

Investigators from the US Justice Department even met with holders of the Ukrainian half of shares of Raiffeisen Investment AG and evidently tried to find out who was the real owner of
RosUkrEnergo from the Ukrainian side. Austrians met with investigators but did not say if they disclosed terrible secrets of the gas company to them. This does credit to them but also lets journalists feel free in guessing on pages of newspapers who is the real owner of RosUkrEnergo.

Before saying briefly whom journalists have presumed to be the owners we can be glad for the sake of American lawyers. They have evidently solved domestic problems of their own country a long time already, that is why they have time and wish to interfere into business that is not theirs. In any case, it depends on what is considered your business. The Wall Street Journal says, “The investigation will evidently be unpleasant for Moscow that is trying to use its current chairmanship in G8 for propaganda of energy security and will strengthen the apprehensions of Europe about the attempts of Gazprom to buy energy assets there.” Naturally, a prospect of troubles against the background of G8 summit is worth making Moscow nervous. Americans will not miss such chance.

Alas, Moscow turned out to be not involved and work of investigators not so difficult. Conducting our own investigation, we found that a 50% stake in RosUkrEnergo belonged to Gazprom, which was already known to everyone. We have also learned that behind the Ukrainian half of RosUkrEnergo there was not “citizen of many countries Semen Mogilevich, wanted by Interpol” and not even Leonid Kuchma contrary to the hints of the “orange” ones. It was sufficient to do an online search to discover that RosUkrEnergo AG was registered in the commercial register of the Swiss canton Zug on July 22 of 2004. Shareholders of the company are Gazprom and Raiffeisen Investment AG on the parity basis. The declared goals of activity are trade in commodities in the energy sector.

It was also not difficult to obtain copies of documents that were incidentally not classified and were already issued to the interested companies who wanted to know how transparent was the structure of owners of RosUkrEnergo. Two names were mentioned in the report of auditors about financial operations of the company between July 22 of 2004 and December 31 of 2005. This is D. Firtash (owning 90% of shares) and I. Fursin (10%). These two Ukrainian citizens, not very well known to the public, are beneficiaries of the company. There are no grounds to doubt this information, since the audit was done by PricewaterhouseCoopers and its report has been quoted.

It is possible only to guess why the truth has not surfaced for such a long time. Demands to disclose the entire list of owners of RosUkrEnergo were made during the demonstrations in Independence Square. However, when Yushchenko and Timoshenko ascended to power these demands were immediately hushed down. From this circumstance it is possible to presume that the “orange” ones are quite content with Firtash and Fursin, as well as the “white-blue” ones who have not initiated any investigations too. Now Timoshenko calls on termination of the gas agreement between Ukraine and Russia and already demands a new investigation. It’s uncertain whether Timoshenko is the person whom the US Justice
Department is helping so actively. Another point is clear. RosUkrEnergo has fulfilled all obligations to gas recipients in Europe. Gas has been sold, transit is being done and there is no way back. From this point of view Europe has nothing to worry about, moreover so against the background of preparation for the summit of G8 the topic of which is energy security.

As to the questions related to transparency, ownership structure and so on, it is necessary to address them to authorities in Kiev. They evidently know everything that should be known about Firtash and Fursin, because they have entrusted to these people an important business of “international trade in commodities in the energy sector.”

Ein jetzt an die Öffentlichkeit gekommener Bericht enthüllt einen US-Geheimplan, um eine Invasion im Irak absichtlich zu provozieren, ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste.

Ein vertraulicher, fünfseitiger Bericht über ein Treffen zwischen Präsident George W. Bush und Tony Blair, entlarvt ihre Absicht, den zweiten Golfkrieg ohne eine zweite UN-Resolution zu beginnen, koste es, was es wolle.

Der Vermerk, geschrieben am 31. Januar 2003, also fast zwei Monate vor der Invasion, bestätigt, die beiden Männer waren sich zunehmend bewusst, dass die UN-Inspektoren keine Massenvernichtungswaffen im Irak finden würden. Deshalb machten sie sich über alternative Szenarien Gedanken, um militärische Maßnahmen (sprich eine Invasion) zu legitimieren.

Experten schätzen den Bericht als wichtigen Beweis für den Beginn des Golfkrieges und die Invasion des Irak ein.Philippe Sands, Professor der Rechtswissenschaften am University College London, spricht  von einer »nationalen Verlegenheit«, die vollständig öffentlich aufgeklärt werden müsse. Lord Guthrie, ehemaliger Verteidigungsminister unter Blair, bezeichnete den Bericht »ziemlich schockierend« und forderte ebenfalls eine lückenlose öffentliche Aufklärung.

Hintergrund: Der zweite Golfkrieg

Der zweite Golfkrieg im Jahr 2003 war eine Invasion des Iraks durch die Streitkräfte der Vereinigten Staaten, der Streitkräfte des Vereinigten Königreichs und verbündeter Staaten in der sogenannten »Koalition der Willigen«. Sie erfolgte ohne offizielle Kriegserklärung.Es wurden 15.000 Präzisionsbomben, 8.000 ungesteuerte Sprengkörper und 800 Marschflugkörper bei 30.000 Einsätzen eingesetzt. Etwa 900.000 Zivilisten starben bis heute an den Kriegsfolgen. Die Koalition, allen voran die USA und Großbritannien, ordnete die Invasion als Präventivkrieg ein, den sie durch die Bedrohung seitens des Iraks aufgrund Massenvernichtungswaffen rechtfertigte. Dies stellte sich als Lüge heraus. Einige Rechtswissenschaftler und Kritiker werteten die Invasion dagegen als Angriffskrieg und eine Verletzung des Völkerrechts, denn: gemäß der UN-Charta sind, außer dem Recht zur Selbstverteidigung, bei einem Angriff durch einen anderen Staat, militärische Maßnahmen nur im Falle eines Beschlusses durch den Sicherheitsrat als legitim anzusehen. Dieser erfolgte nicht. Aufgrund dieser neuen Enthüllungen gehören George W. Bush und Tony Blair als Massenmörder vor das Kriegsverbrecher-Tribunal in Den Haag.

Western Governments Funding Taliban & Al-Qaeda To Kill U.S. Troops, Destabilize Countries

Recent revelations concerning the U.S. importing Taliban members into Iraq to foster false flag terrorism is merely the tip of the iceberg when compared to the U.S. intelligence complex’s multi-decade history in sponsoring Sunni Al-Qaeda affiliated terrorist groups around the world.

Wayne Madsen recently revealed how Taliban fighters were being imported from Afghanistan into Iraq to attack civilians and U.S. soldiers, as well as how Muqtada al-Sadr’s al-Mahdi Army was being allowed to import materials to make IEDs.

However, this is just one aspect of how the U.S. has used terrorist groups as pawns on the global chessboard, moving them around the globe in line with their geopolitical objectives.

As is voluminously documented, the U.S. first worked covertly with Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan from 1979-1989.

Following this, the Al-Qaeda pawns were moved on to Bosnia shortly after the outbreak of war in 1992 to fight against Bosnian Serbs who were subsequently the target of NATO air strikes.

Following the end of the war, “hundreds of Bosnian passports were provided to the mujahedeen by the Muslim-controlled government in Sarajevo,” according to Lenard Cohen, professor of political science at Simon Fraser University. This all happened with the approval of the United Nations and the United States, who had brokered the peace deal to end the war.

“They also set up secret terrorist training camps in Bosnia — activities financed by the sale of opium produced in Afghanistan and secretly shipped through Turkey and Kosovo into central Europe,” reports the National Post.
