Da gehen die Albaner Banditen um die DUI mit der Waffe zum wählen und dann gleich mit mehreren Stimmzetteln. Und als man dies unterbinden will, wird zur Waffe gegriffen.

Derartige Vorgänge kennt man auch aus dem Kosovo und Nord Albanien. Die besondere Art der Demokratie Vorstellung der Albaner eben und besonders der Extremen Mafia Clans der Albaner.

Die oppositionelle albanische Demokratische Integrationsunion (DUI) hatte schon Stunden zuvor den Tod eines Parteimitglieds in Aracinovo bekannt gegeben. Nach Angaben der Polizei wurde Naser Ajvazi in einer Auseinandersetzung mit der Polizei in einem Wahllokal getötet. Laut dem Polizeisprecher wollte Ajvazi für mehrere Personen die Stimme abgeben. Als ihm dies nicht ermöglicht wurde, zog er eine Pistole hervor. Der Präsident der Wahlkommission bat daraufhin die Polizei um die Hilfe. Diese habe eingegriffen und in Richtung Ajvazis geschossen, erklärte der Polizeisprecher. Bei diesem Zwischenfall seien mindestens fünf Personen verletzt worden, sagte der Sprecher. Keiner davon sei ein Polizist gewesen.

Schießerei
Die Polizei bestätigte unterdessen, dass im Dorf Grusino eine Person bei einer Schießerei in einem Wahllokal verletzt wurde. Dort hatte ein Albaner für mehrere Familienmitglieder die Stimme abgeben wollen. Als ihm dies verweigert wurde, habe er eine Pistole gezogen. Er wurde von mehreren bewaffneten Personen begleitet.

Und wenn man nicht wählen darf, dann lässt man die Wahl Urnen verschwinden und bringt Selbige dann mit gefälschten Wahl Zetteln wieder zurück. 19 Wahl Lokale mussten wegen der besonderen Art von Demokratie Vorstellung heute in Mazedonien geschlossen werden. Und natürlich wieder das Verbrecher Nest: Aracinovo und diese Mafiöse Partei des Ali Ahmeit DUI!

Albanian organised crime has reached the United States, creating partnerships with the Gambino, Genovese, and Luchese families to facilitate specific crimes.

In Italy, meanwhile, Mafia groups have reportedly taken advantage of the country’s geographic proximity to Southeast Europe to align themselves with Balkan organised criminal groups engaged in arms and cigarette smuggling, trafficking in humans and smuggling of aliens.

In order to confront this growing problem, Ashley said, the FBI has established the Balkan Organised Crime (BOC) initiative, which is focused on criminal activity emanating from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia-Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Greece. The BOC is a high profile endeavour on the part of the FBI’s Organised Crime Section and the US Department of Justice’s Organised Crime and Racketeering Section, he noted.

Das ist bekanntlich Alles der Politische Murks von Joschka Fischer, dem Amts Versager, der solche Leute auch noch als Politik Partner anerkannte.

Es ging immer nur um Posten, welche man verkaufte bzw. an Verwandte weiter reichte! 

Die Albaner wählen traditionell „ihre“ Parteien, von denen sie im Gegenzug nach den Wahlen Unterstützung erwarten: Einen Posten für den Neffen in der Verwaltung, die lange fällige Teerung der Zufahrtsstraße zum Dorf, die Finanzierung eines neuen Kreißsaals im örtlichen Krankenhaus.

Dieser Klientelismus ist zwar kein Alleinstellungsmerkmal Mazedoniens auf dem Balkan, gilt dort aber schon deshalb als besonders ausgeprägt, da seit dem Ende der fast zu einem Bürgerkrieg ausgearteten Kämpfe des Jahres 2001 alle staatlichen Posten nach ethnischem Proporz verteilt werden. Das gilt für die Parteien der slawischen Mazedonier auch, ist aber bei den auf dem Lande weiterhin in Clanstrukturen organisierten Albanern noch deutlicher ausgeprägt.

Wer nichts zu verteilen hat, verliert

Somit bedeutet eine Wahlniederlage für eine albanische Partei in Mazedonien eine fast existenzielle Bedrohung: Wer nichts zu verteilen hat, verliert. In diesem Wahlkampf sahen sich beide albanischen Parteien Mazedoniens bedrängt. Die BDI Ahmetis lag zwar in allen Umfragen vorn, musste aber dennoch fürchten, bei der Neuverteilung der Macht in Skopje zu kurz zu kommen. Regierungschef Gruevski, der einem sicheren Wahlsieg entgegensah, versucht eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem ehemaligen Freischärlerführer Ahmeti unter allen Umständen zu vermeiden.

Er will lieber seine Koalition mit der kleineren PDSh von Thaçi fortsetzen. Thaçi, der nicht mit dem kosovarischen Ministerpräsidenten gleichen Familiennamens verwandt ist, gilt ebenso wie Ahmeti als skrupelloser Machtpolitiker mit Verbindungen zur Unterwelt, ist aber politisch geschwächt und schon deshalb ein pflegeleichterer Koalitionspartner für Gruevski.

- interview with Mrs. Florence Hartmann, former spokesperson

of the U.N. International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia in the Hague and author of the book “Peace and Punishment” in which she describes the mechanisms and politics influencing the international criminal justice system.

Sebastian Aulich: Why did you decide to write your book? What made you to write it?

Florence Hartmann: International justice finally exists but is still fragile and may be even in danger in this new century. The hopes given to humanity by creating the first ever established judicial bodies to implement international humanitarian law

should not be destroyed. The ICC is the best gift we have from

the bloody XX century. International justice is not prefect, it has deficiencies, it doesn’t work as we wish, we have not succeeded

to put an end to impunity but the process is on and should be sustained. Therefore, I believe it was necessary to learn from

the experience of the first international criminal court established since Nuremberg and Tokyo. With ICTY we have almost 15 years of experience of how an international judicial body works, what gave us important information about the problems, deficiencies and negatives, which were part of the ICTY experience. I also believe it would be very useful for others to better understand what was going on in the ICTY, what was not functioning properly, why there is some frustration about international justice system. It isn’t easy for somebody from the outside to figure those things out, identify and understand them. Therefore I wanted to write about all those difficulties, how they were overcome or how they failed to be overcome, about what was going right and what was going wrong. I believe it is something very precious and we need to assist international justice. I wanted to explain that the problem was not primarily with the international justice but with some external factors. It will take time for international justice to become independent and it was important to write about political influences on the ICTY in order to protect it from such political pressures in the future. The book’s purpose is to identify the problem, not to generalize it. I am a journalist. I worked as a journalist before I started to work at the Tribunal, therefore I believe in a necessity to inform. In this case there were many things, which appeared to be necessary to write about, the things related to ICTY but also some elements related to the conflict in former Yugoslavia. I have been covering the Balkans’ issues since 1987. Do you think it is wrong to write such a book?

SA: Not at all. I think it is good you published your book because it gives us better understanding of what is going on inside the Tribunal…

That was my goal. It was not a kind of a story I should be keeping only to myself.

SA: What did you want to suggest by naming your book “Peace and Punishment”?

Balkan States Tighten Wildlife Protection

30 May 2008 Belgrade _ Six Balkan countries are to boost cross-border conservation efforts in an area of the Balkans especially rich in wildlife.

The governments of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia said they would create 13 new protected areas and extend nine others in the Dinaric Arc, an area which stretches from Trieste in Italy to Tirana in Albania.

The area is home to healthy populations of large carnivores, including bears, lynxes, wolves and golden jackals, and large areas of undamaged forest. Environmentalists also say its freshwater ecosystems are the richest in the Mediterranean.

The announcement, made at a United Nations meeting on protecting the diversity of plant and animal life, brings the governments closer to agreeing a coordinated vision for the region, said conservation group Worldwide Fund for Nature, WWF, which has been working on the initiative.

“This network will fill a crucial gap in a pan-European network stretching from France to Greece, ensuring shelter for threatened species as well as corridors for species’ mobility,” said Paolo Lombardi, director of WWF’s Mediterranean Programme.

Under the agreement, Albania will enlarge the surface of its protected zones by at least 40,000 hectares (98,840 acres), while Bosnia will create three new protected areas in its central mountain region.

Croatia will boost the management of five marine protected areas and establish two new land parks, while Montenegro will create two land and three new marine parks. It will also harmonise its domestic nature protection rules with EU laws.

Serbia will establish a new protected area and enlarge one into a cross-border reserve. Slovenia has agreed to increase its protected area network in the Dinaric region by 2.5 percent.

The six countries, some of them former enemies who fought against each other in the last 20 years, have also committed to evaluating the effectiveness of existing management in their protected areas system.

WWF and organisations including UNESCO, the Council of Europe and Euronatur have been working since 2005 on boosting cooperation between governments, international bodies and regional and international conservation partners.

The UN Convention on Biological Diversity conference, which ends on Friday, is trying to agree on ways to reduce the speed at which species are dying out because of threats including deforestation, pollution and climate change.

UN experts say three species vanish every hour and the planet is facing the most serious spate of extinctions since the dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago.

Vor 25 Jahren machten Deutsche Natur Schützer ein grosses Getöse, als zwischen Marmaris und Fethiy eine der Strände, wo die Schild Kröten ihre Eier ablegen mit Hotels zugebaut werden sollten. Man fand eine sehr Umwelt freundliche Lösung und der Strand wurde ein viel besuchter Schildkröten Strand!

Obwohl jeder Tourist in ca. 4 Wochen einmal eine lebendige Schildkröte zu Gesicht bekommt, ist doch die Frage was man zum Schutze dieser Tierart gerade im Nördlichen Albanien unternehmen sollte. Ebenso Schutz ihrer Brut Gebiete und ebenso Belehrung der Fischer, denn Fischerei Gesetze gibt es ja, werden aber mit Ausnahme der Fischerei Schutz Zone um die Marina Durres nirgendwo befolgt.

Wo bleiben eigentlich hier die grossen Sprüche der bekannten Tierschutz Vereine?

Besonders krass ist wieder das Deutschen Politische Gesindel aus der BMZ. Viele Konferenzen, viel Gerede, viele hoch Dotierte Jobs bei der SPD BMZ und GTZ Mafia und kein Geld (man redet mal von 5.000 € oder 10.000 €) für echte Natur Schutz Projekte wie auch Aufforstungs Projekte. Die Gelder fliessen nur in Richtung krimineller Politischer Berater mit Partei Buch, der dann eine Beratung und Förderung erfindet.

Himari ist die Geburtsstadt vom früheren CIA - Direktor Georg Tenet, welcher mit einem Britischen U-Boot mit seiner Mutter 1947 dort evakuiert wurde. Bei einem Besuch in Albanien forschte Georg Tenet (der Balkan Terrorist Nr. 1) in seiner Geburts Kirche nach, ob es noch alte Unterlagen über seiner Familie gibt.

Albania Indicts Ethnic Greek Mayor

29 May 2008 Tirana _ An ethnic Greek mayor in Albania has been indicted after he ordered the destruction of road signs because they were not bilingual.

Mayor Vasil Bollano from the town of Himara on Albania’s coast, ordered the removal of the signs in December 2007 arguing that the signs should have also been in Greek, because he considers the area a Greek minority zone.

Bollano’s move caused chaos around Himara, allege officials

The removal of the signs caused road chaos because they were along a section of Albania’s coast which is very popular with tourists.

Prosecutors have filed charges against Bollano for abuse of power, arguing that his actions were against the law and cost Albanian taxpayers roughly €170,000.

Bollano’s statements have got him in hot water before. He previously declared large swathes of southern Albania are Greek land and claimed autonomy for the area.

Estimates of the Greek minority in Albania range from three to seven percent of the total population.
