Der NATO die Zerschlagung Jugoslawiens erleichtert
Zionisten fälschten 1997 die Geschichte der albanischen Judenvernichtung

Jean-Moïse Braitberg, Mitglied der französisch-jüdischen Vereinigung für den Frieden (UJFP), berichtet von einer Geschichtsfälschung der US-amerikanischen Anti-Defamation League zum Zweck der Mobilisierung gegen Jugoslawien im Vorkriegsjahr 1997. (1) Die Albaner hätten, so die Fälschung, anders als alle anderen europäischen Völker, die Juden vor der Vernichtung gerettet. Unterschlagen werde, daß die italienischen Faschisten Albanien mit dem Kosovo, West-Mazedonien und dem südlichen Montenegro zu Groß-Albanien vereint hatten und daß in Groß-Albanien vornehmlich Kosovo-Albaner unter der Führung des Faschisten Xhaver Deva die Inhaftierung und schließliche Deportation der Juden organisiert haben.

Der Mythos von den Albanern als Retter der Juden hat seinen Ursprung im Buch ‚Rescue in Albania’, das Harvey Sarner 1997 veröffentlichte. Sarner ist führendes Mitglied der Anti-Defamation League (2), der US-amerikanischen Entsprechung zur französischen LICRA. Das Buch wurde veröffentlicht, nachdem restlos alle albanischen Juden – etwa 300 Personen – nach Israel emigriert waren und kurze Zeit vor der Intervention der NATO (einschließlich der USA) in den Kosovo-Krieg. Auf dem Umschlag des Buches überkreuzen sich die israelische und die albanische Fahne. (3)

Das Buch wurde in den USA zu Propagandazwecken weit verbreitet, um den Fluß der Spenden zur angeblich humanitären Verwendung im Kosovo zu befördern und um die Albaner als die Guten und die Serben als die Bösen erscheinen zu lassen - nach dem Prinzip, das lautet: Was gut ist für die Freunde der Juden und Israels, das ist auch gut für die USA. Es diente besonders der Albanian American Civic League, der albanischen Lobby-Gruppe unter Leitung von Joe DioGuardi (www.aacl.com), dazu, die Unterstützungsgelder des amerikanischen Kongresses auf die Kämpfer für ein Groß-Albanien umzulenken; ein Groß-Albanien, dessen Anhänger, Rassisten reinsten Wassers, 1878 die Liga von Prizren gründeten, die ein ethnisch reines Albanien propagierte. Diese Thesen, von den Nazis geteilt, verliehen der zweiten Liga von Prizren Gewicht, die 1943 von Xhafer Deva gegründet wurde.

Xhafer Deva war der führende kosovo-albanische Faschist und Innenminister von Groß-Albanien. Jean-Moïse Braitberg berichtet, daß die etwa 400 nach Groß-Albanien, also unter anderm ins Kosovo geflüchteten Juden 1942 von den (teils kosovo-)albanischen Faschisten in Pristina, der Hauptstadt des Kosovo, in ein Konzentrationslager gesteckt wurden. Die meisten kamen unter der anschließenden deutschen Besatzung nach Bergen-Belsen. Etwa 100 überlebten. (4) Diese Geschichte erinnere an die der bulgarischen Juden, die allesamt gerettet wurden; unter bulgarischer Besatzung wurden jedoch die Juden aus den Gebieten Thrazien und Mazedonien erbarmungslos deportiert.

Im deutschsprachigen Internet hat Max Brym für die Verbreitung des US-amerikanisch-albanischen Mythos von den Albanern als Retter der Juden gesorgt, und zwar auf der mehrheitsjüdischen Seite haGalil.com.(5) Brym tritt laut Jürgen Elsässer für die einseitige Unabhängigkeitserklärung der Provinz Kosovo von Serbien ein.

The definitive work on Hitler’s “Final Solution” in Yugoslavia estimates that 550 Jews lived in Kosovo when Hitler took over Yugoslavia. 210 of them, or 38 percent, were murdered in Kosovo, mainly by Albanians. In fact, the Skanderbeg division’s first operation was to act as an Einsatzgruppe against the Jews, and its second was a similar extermination foray against the Serb village of Velika where more than 400 Serbians were murdered.

Ceda Prlincevic, head of the Jewish community in Pristina and an executive of the provincial archives, has explained to Emperor’s Clothes that the Jews who were not murdered outright were sent by the Skanderbeg division to the German death camps Treblinka and Bergen-Belsen. One train, on its way to the latter camp, took the wrong track and was intercepted by advancing Russian soldiers. According to Mr. Prlincevic, were it not for that fortunate detour, the entire Jewish population of Kosovo would have been eliminated.

Although KLA (UČK, T:I:S) supporters now claim that no Jews were killed in Kosovo and that Jews were sheltered by the Kosovo Albanians, such claims are false and should be treated the same way we would treat other Holocaust denials.

Deutschland muss atomar aufrüsten

Eine deutsche Außenpolitik gibt es nicht, behauptet Peter Scholl-Latour.

Eine deutsche Außenpolitik, die diesen Namen verdient, gibt es ebenso wenig wie ein deutsches strategisches Konzept. Die Schuld daran ist nicht nur den in Berlin agierenden Parteien und Politikern anzulasten. Die überstürzte Ausweitung der Europäischen Union auf 27 Mitglieder mit extrem divergierenden Interessen hat den Kontinent und somit auch Deutschland jeder resoluten Handlungsfähigkeit beraubt. Im militärischen Bereich ist der Atlantischen Allianz mit dem Zusammenbruch der Sowjetunion der Gegner abhandengekommen. Seitdem hat sich die Nato „out of area“ in eine zeitlich und räumlich unbegrenzte Phantomjagd auf den internationalen Terrorismus eingelassen.

Wer die Dinge beim Namen nennt, setzt sich in den deutschen Medien unweigerlich dem diffamierenden Vorwurf des Antiamerikanismus aus. Dabei sind es prominente amerikanische Politiker, die George W.Bush als den verhängnisvollsten Politiker in der Geschichte der USA anprangern. Die Chance einer „pax americana“, die nach dem Ende des Kalten Krieges durchaus bestand, ist durch den blinden Bellizismus der Bush-Administration wohl endgültig verspielt worden. Heute gilt es für die Deutschen, endlich den Unterschied zu erkennen zwischen dem Nordatlantischen Bündnis Europas mit Amerika, das den existenziellen Bedürfnissen beider Kontinente und ihrer kulturellen Affinität entspricht, und andererseits der konkreten Struktur dieser Allianz – North Atlantic Treaty Organization, die seit Beilegung des Ost-West-Konflikts obsolet wurde und sich für die europäischen Partner zunehmend negativ auswirkt.

Als flagrantes Beispiel für diese Fehlentwicklung lässt sich die Absicht Washingtons zitieren – ohne Information und Konsultation der übrigen Verbündeten –, in Polen und Tschechien einen vorgeschobenen Raketenabwehrschirm beziehungsweise ein hoch entwickeltes Radarsystem einzurichten. Die Behauptung, diese Dislozierung an Weichsel und Moldau diene ausschließlich dem Zweck, das Territorium der USA vor der sich steigernden ballistischen Kapazität der Islamischen Republik Iran oder gar Nordkoreas zu schützen, klingt absurd und widerspricht zudem dem Geist atlantischer Solidarität. Die Staaten der Europäischen Union dürften ja viel eher in die Reichweite nuklearer Sprengköpfe geraten, die eventuell aus dem Orient abgefeuert würden, als das durch die Weiten der Ozeane geschützte Amerika.

Die Deutschen sollten endlich begreifen, dass im Extremfall nicht die perfektionistischen Abwehrsysteme glaubwürdigen Schutz gegen die nukleare Bedrohung durch blindwütige Feindstaaten bieten, sondern – in Ermangelung eines kontinentalen Konsens – die nationale Verfügung über eine eigene atomare Abschreckung. Frankreich hat aus dieser Erkenntnis mit der Schaffung seiner „Force de dissuasion“ längst die Konsequenz gezogen.

Now Karl Rove, Bush’s political brain, says that the Iraq War was “Osama bin Laden’s Idea.” —This is crazy.

The fact is that the world was ready to accept a case for destroying and eradicating the terrorist-training camps located in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, after 9/11. That is the reason the United Nations Security Council passed two resolutions to that effect in the fall of 2001 and in early 2002. These were Resolution 1373, adopted on September 28, 2001, and Resolution 1390, passed on January 16, 2002.

But the case for going to war against Iraq is entirely different: It was a fabrication from day one. That is the reason the United Nations Security Council refused to pass a resolution authorizing it, in January 2003. The Bush-Cheney regime nevertheless went ahead with this illegal war and will carry the historical opprobrium for having done so. It took the low moral road, thus reducing the moral stance of western civilization in the world and doing irreparable damage to international law and order. It has also brought discredit on the very institution of representative government and on democracy in general. This is a scandal of high proportions, above and beyond all the crimes being carried out on the ground in Iraq.

The British ambassador to Australia and former British cabinet minister Helen Liddell recently rendered a service to many when she stated the obvious, i.e. that the Bush-Cheney war of aggression against Iraq had little to do with a war against terrorism. The Bush-Cheney regime is marketing any imperialistic and colonialist adventure around the world as an “anti-terrorist” mission and a push for democracy. —This is a lie. It is a propaganda trick to silence critics and chloroform the American public. All these wars of aggression are illegal attempts by the United States and its willing co-conspirators to dominate militarily the strategic oil-rich Middle East and Caspian region in order to displace Russia, China and even Western Europe from this region of the world. It has nothing to do with fighting Islamist terrorism. In fact, it feeds and exacerbates terrorism.

Therefore, the historical reality remains that the Bush-Cheney regime disregarded truth and international law in order to justify taking military control of oil-rich Iraq, without provocation, even though it knew perfectly well that this country had no ties to the 9/11 attacks nor to bin Laden’s terrorist organization, and that it had no weapons of mass destruction. In the process, however, this Karl Rove-inspired Republican regime took partisan advantage of the anger present in America after 9/11 to run two elections, in 2002 and in 2004, on the theme of national security and on a platform of war hysteria, thus profiting immensely politically from this propaganda scam.

Now that hundreds of people die daily in occupied Iraq, that they have triggered a religious and sectarian civil war, and that a majority of Americans have seen through their lies and machinations, the architects of this disaster are trying to shift blame and find new excuses. But to no avail. The truth is now too powerful to be extinguished by crude propaganda tricks and by lies.

For a while, however, the campaign of disinformation and propaganda worked remarkably well. For example, immediately after the events of 9/11, only three percent (3%) of Americans made a link between the terrorist attacks and Iraq; by February 2003, weeks before the March 20, 2003 onset of the Iraq War, a whopping seventy-two percent (72%) of Americans had been persuaded by the Bush-Cheney regime and their sycophants in the media that the president of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, had been personally involved in the 9/11 attacks. Political analysts will study this propaganda coup for decades to come.

Even the Democrats in Congress—goaded by the pro-Israel Lobby—were suicidally content to go along with the Bush-Cheney’s scam until the 2006 elections. They now adopt the majority view that there is no military solution in Iraq, that to believe so will only lead to bad policies and make matters worse, and that a promise to withdraw all American troops from this country is a prerequisite to reintroduce some stability in this ravaged country.

But how many thousands more deaths must occur before sanity prevails?

Nokia opens production unit and research centre in Romania

Since joining the EU in January, Romania has become a new draw for foreign investors. Finnish mobile producer Nokia is just one of the companies opening subsidiaries in the country.

Nokia, the world’s leading mobile phone supplier, will open a production unit and a research centre in Romania, under a Memorandum of Understanding that was signed recently between representatives of the Cluj County Council and the Finnish mobile producer.

Nokia will invest 60m euros in the plant — its eleventh — that will be built in the Tetarom III industrial park, 18km from Cluj. Nokia Vice President Raimo Puntala said the new factory would boost the company’s production capacity.

Nokia, said Puntala, sold 350 million mobile phones in 2006, up 30% from 2005. The mobile telephony market is expected to increase 10% this year. The Cluj factory will help meet the demand for Nokia products in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The Transylvanian city of Cluj-Napoca was chosen due to its skilled labour force, solid internal and external logistical connections and long-standing industrial tradition, according to Nokia. Local authorities say the area will become much more attractive to foreign investors as soon as the Transylvania motorway is finished.

Nokia will start building the plant this spring. By year’s end, 500 employees will be recruited, and production will start at the beginning of 2008. The main suppliers will join Nokia at the location, forming Nokia Village. Nokia will also set up a commercial company in Cluj.

Local authorities expect that the Finnish investment will have a significant impact on the county’s economic development, creating 15,000 jobs.

Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu said the government would support the project through infrastructure expansion. Cluj airport may require an addition, as Nokia delivers its products all over the world.

Ericsson, Microsoft and Renault have also announced plans to open research, support or design facilities in Romania.
